I keep on reading reviews that say people get stuck waiting 1/2 hour+ past their ADR times. When I went with 15 TS ADR's I was always seated on time, if not early, except for Akershus, where I had a 15 or 20 minute wait. Was I just extremely lucky?

you were lucky! we almost always waited at least 15 minutes... longer than we waited in line for any show/ride/attraction!

Around 10 minutes was the longest we had (in September). Once at CRT and the other at LeCellier.

Oct. '05 -
We would try to be 10-15 minutes early for our ADRs. We were usually seated right at our ADR time, if not sooner. The only one we had to "wait" for was when we showed up for the Akershus Princess breakfast 15 minutes early, and got seated about 10 minutes past our ADR time (25 minute wait, for those with "vacation brain").

We went during the free dining and usually waited 15 minutes. I think our longest wait one was Garden Grill and that was close to 25 minutes.

Other than that normally when we go we are seated within 5-10 minutes.

Only wait we had was at Sci Fi, we were about 30mins early and they made us wait 20.

We went during the free dining plan, and had to wait 35 minutes at 1900 Park Faire (dinner). It was absolutely NUTS inside! Good food, good character interaction, but CRAZY busy, and tables very close to one another.

We have always been lucky at getting seated ontime, or early, but we tend to always make early ADR's. When you are toward the beginning of the meal service, the restaurant does not have the backlog that occurs as the lunch, or especially dinner, period progresses.

The only time I really remember a wait, was for Sci-Fi and 50's Prime Time, and those were for lunches during Christmas/New Year's week.

A lot depends on which day, and what time. I waited an hour with ADR once at California Grill. And this trip, about 20 minutes at Narcoossee's. Dinner was at 8:00 in those cases, on Saturday night. But we almost always eat at 6:00 on other nites, and can't recall any wait beyond a minute or two. Most times it's right in.

Last week we waitied over 25 minutes to be seated at 'OHana. They were very busy when we arrived. Our ADR was for 7:20, so a busy time of the evening meal. We also waited at the Rose and Crown about 20 minutes, but I had asked for a patio table (which we got) and said we would wait for one. Our ADR for this meal was at 7:40, again a busy time. Other than that, we were seated within a few minutes of our ADR's.

Only time I have ever waited more than 5-10 minutes(totally acceptable to me) was at Chef Mickey for a group of 11 we ended up waiting an hour(after our ADR'S)...it was horrible 7 kids asking every 20 seconds when will it be our turn. IF you are a party of 4 I think it is a lot easier to seat.

The only one we waited for Teppanayki, it was about 20 min. late. Other than that, we were either on time or early. We were late for one and still seated right away.
