So I must say I'm a little disappointed in something. ADRs are supposed to be able to be made 180 days in advance. With that in mind, I don't see how it can be fair that certain resturants don't "release" their availabiltiy till after the 180 day mark. For example we have a trip planned for November 30th and stay through Dec 9th. Sunday was the 180 day mark so I could begin to make my ADRs. However, I could not make any reservations for Le Celiers or Coral Reef. They are popular resturants, but I couldn't find any time available for lunch or dinner for the entire 10 day stay!! I called down instead of trying online and I was told that those two resturants, along with a few others (Rose & Crown, for example) have not released their seating. They also told me that those particular resturants end their schedules for November 26th. The reservation agent also informed me that they have no idea when they will release their schedules. So now the advantage of booking 180 days in advance is completely out the window and gets more frustrating the longer it takes for these resturants to release their seat. I have been going to Disney for years, multiple times a year and have never had an issue or have seen an issue like this. Anyone else ever have this happen?

I had the same problem with Le Cellier for my trip 11/25-11/30 when I tried to book at my 180, 5/29. I've never tried to book Le Cellier before, so maybe this is typical, but it's really annoying. It would be one thing if they said "Le Cellier reservations will open on July 1." But they won't tell us when, and the CM I talked to suggested I just call every day. Call every day??? I do have a life outside planning my vacation!

You are being held up for this.
Holidays Around the World in Epcot -- November 23 - December 30, 2012
The Candlelight Processional - details to be announced

just check online daily to see if the adr's have opened. No need to stress about it.

Yes they told me to call or check on the online daily. The person I spoke with today said they are holding because of the CP. I was looking for earlier lunches and I was under the impression that the CP package was for dinners only (I have never done the CP Package). The individual informed me that Le Cellier's was for a lunch as well, but only for a later lunch, which is not what I was looking for. I went to disney the exact same time the last two years and haven't run into this issue, so I am surprised that it's happening this year.

The CM I talked to told me it wasn't the CP, because they always have regular reservations in addition to the CP package, because of course there are plenty of diners who aren't interested in CP. So maybe that's why, but I don't know. The CM said she thought it was very odd. :confused3

Moving to our Dining Reservations board. :)

They're being held while they finalize CP plans, no need to worry they will release tables soon enough. Just keep your eye on this board, it'll be all over the place when they do finally release the reservations for the 4 Epcot restaurants that are on hold :thumbsup2

This isn't entirely correct, many of the CP restaurants do lunch packages.

And it apparently IS the Candlelight Processional. Apparently they had problems last year balancing demand for CP reservations which couldn't be made until later with demand for non-CP reservations which could be made much earlier than CP reservations. So they've decided that this year they will release everything at the same time. And apparently they have decided not to release any of the restaurants partially - you can't book Le Cellier yet at all, even though they only do CP packages for later lunches. why that is, I don't know, you'd have to ask Disney (and probably someone other than a phone rep at WDW-DINE).

I had the same problems with theEpcot restaurants that I wanted today, too.

I hope that I don't have to call or go online everyday until the Candlelight Processional Package opens up sales. Last year, they opened up CP sales on July 26, 2011.

I have been able to make several other ADRs outside Epcot.

Good luck to you and everyone.
