I was surprised that ADRs at some restaurants are 5 min apart. Mostly I see 10 or 15 min. Is there any difference in booking 5:00pm vs 5:05pm seating? Can that 5 min make a difference?

If a restaurant's dinner starts at 5:00pm... are all 5:05 ADRs going to wait until all 5:00pm's are seated? Is it safe to assume that all 5:00 and 5:05's will be considered first seating and all will be seated immediately?

What happens if I have a 5:00pm seating but someone else has a 5:05pm but managed to be lining up before me at check-in?

I have a 5:05pm ADR for Chef Mickey's on the day we arrive but a 5:00pm opened up and I don't know what difference (if any) would that be.

THANKS!

It's still a first seating and you will be seated quickly. Don't worry about it. 5:05 is a great time! Have good meal!

They will seat first come first serve. I think they stagger the times like to prevent back ups... Could you imagine if they scheduled 50 tables to ALL show up right at 5?
