I recently jumped on the chance to book an ADR for BOG, not realizing one huge thing. My res time is for 9:30p.m., and Wishes is at 10pm. I don't want to miss either of them! I was told I could show up at BOG earlier and they'd accommodate me, but is that true? Would it be considered a walk up and would I be charged a cancellation fee for my ADR?

I greatly appreciate any input that is offered! TYIA!

There is no guarantee that if you walk up an hour or two before your res that you will be seated. If the restaurant is not busy it might happen, but we've been there when it was busy and they were not taking walk ups or seating guests early. Even though someone said you would be accommodated, I would not count on it because in the end it will depend on the situation the night you are there.

If you want to dine at BOG and see Wishes you will need to keep checking online multiple times a day for an earlier time or do them on separate days. To allow time to eat, some extra time if BOG is running late and to find a spot for Wishes you probably want a reservation at least 2 to 2½ hours before the fireworks.

With how popular BoG is, I highly doubt they will seat you so early. You can always ask, but what will you do if you are told to come back? You will have to miss Wishes or lose your $10 per person fee.
