4 years ago we went to disny and my TA made all my ADRs and we got everything we wanted, but we went in mid Feb. This year we are going 12/19-12/24 so during holiday maddness. My question is what strategy to use for ADRs - we are hoping for BOG first seating dinner, O'Hanna 6:30 dinner, Akershus, bill and min fantasmic package, Sci Fi 8pm dinner, Tuskar house 10:30 breakfast, and Pirates League first appointment. So which is the better strategy

1. do all on my own at 180 day mark
2. split up and i do my top ADRs (BOG, Ohana, Akershus) and let TA do Sci Fi, fantasmic package, tuskar, and pirates league)
3. split up with both doing high priority me - BOG, Akershus, Sci Fi, Pirate, TA - Ohana, Sci Fi, fantasmic package
4. both do all and then cancel the ones with the less desirable time, is this allowed?

thanks

I would just do them all yourself. I have a fabulous TA that I love, but I am too neurotic to give up control of my dining reservations. Also, if what I want is not available, I want to be able to make a decision on how to re-work ressies or choose an alternative on the fly...and not have to wait for her to get back to me, me to get back to her, etc.

Also, if I don't know exactly what time I want a reservation (I just know I want it "early" or "late"), and the system comes back with 3-4 choices, I want to be able to make those choices for myself. A 30-minute difference in time could mean being able to sleep in a bit longer or go on another ride before our ADR, know what I mean?

If you want to get up at 7am and have the time that day do them yourself. If you want your TA to do them give them a window of times that is acceptable that way if your exact time is not they can pick and choose for you.

Do you have your park days set? I would make MK day optional and grab BoG first and then plan everything else around what you can get that for.

You cannot make double reservations the system catches that now.

Good luck!
