DVC does not matter, other than if you are staying on site (DVC resorts are just like any other Disney resort). You need to call 90 days ahead, NOT 3 months...slight difference. In your case it would be March 16th.

Here is a nice calculator for figuring out when to call. I have plans to make a slightly more advanced one when I get some time, where it will take into account if you are staying on site, etc.

Tried reading through the thread and the update but still :confused3

Staying off-site from 25th June. I realise that the +10 does not work for us.
So am I right and thinking that we will need to contact Disney each day from 27th March or wait until later to try to get a few ADRs :)

Will we have to phone or use on-line :confused3

Yes, you can start calling on the 27th for each day, or take your chances and wait to book later.

Until the on-line system is actually, um, on-line, I'd plan on using the phone. :)

I would call exactly at the 90 day mark for any ADRs that are very important or any that you think will be hard to get.

Ok, thanks...Can I book the whole weeks worth of ressies at one time?

If you are staying on site, you can call 90 dayes from your check-in date and book all the ressies you want for up to the first 10 days of your stay. So if you are there for 10 days or less, the answer is YES.

Note that not all tables are released for booking before the actual 90 day point, however. For instance, you checkin date is June 14th, so you can call on March 16th. You want to eat at LeCellier on June 17th, but when you call they tell you nothing is available. CALL BACK 90 days prior to the specific day you want (in this case March 19th), because more tables (pretty much the rest) will be released then. They only release some tables before the 90 day limit so that on-site guests checking in before you can't book up all the tables before you have had a fair chance.

I'm still a little fuzzy beyond the 10 days though... :) I'm not 100% certain if you can call the next day for day 11, or have to wait 90 days out for the future ressies. Perhaps someone here can clear it up for me.

There are still exceptions for V&A, CRT and CM, which anyone can book for any day up through June 19th right now.

I really like the old 180 days better. I have all the ADR I would like for Sept and am now sitting here hoping to get them all. Especially with the possible free dining, it will make it a 7:00am nightmare on the phones every morning. Also, I am staying for 11 nights so I am 1 day over the 90+10 rule. Maybe I will book 2 ADR's for one day to make sure I get the restaurants that I want.

This new 90 day ADR is very frustrating for someone who is use to having all the plans made and ready months in advance.:confused3

Take it from someone who is staying off-site and had to call every day for the week we are staying 90 days out. I called at 7am, got through and got everything I wanted no problem. So, for me I can't see how it's different than being 180 days out other than you get to do it sooner. Good luck!

You do realize that 90 days is about 3 months...so you can still make your plans months in advance.

SO did anyone notice that they are updating their "website"? MAYBE there is a chance we are getting the online booking today? I tried to call the number to make a payment on my trip and they cannot do anything over the phone either. Hmmm...we will see.

I tried to make a payment today too and they told me to call back in a few hours because they were updating their system and couldn't pull up any reservations.

Thats what they told me...Im thinking of either adding the dining plan or upgrading to a Moderate...but cannot check my prices because they are updating GRR lol.

Is the ninety day window going to stay that way or is it going back to the original 180? I am curious because we are going again in Sept and I think my 180 would be right when we get back from our trip next week. So I need to keep on the ball. If it stays 90 I have plenty of time lol

Thank you sooo much!!!

I was playing around the actual WDW site, and when I brought up a a list of all F&B locations, beneath the image for CG was a new button I have never seen before... BOOK A RESERVATION. When you click it, it goes to an error and "page not found" message. However, I believe this is what online reservations will look like once it goes live.

If this has already been noticed and mentioned, I apologize.

You have plenty of time, it's going to remain at 90 days.

This is going to be an all-out fiasco.

How often is the reservation site down? The Passholder site is always down, the DVC member site is sporadic. The Disney Shopping site allows your transaction to go through and then they e-mail you later and tell you half of your items aren't available after all. Online ADRs are going to be a disaster.

This year we are in a concierge room so they will be making our ADRs for us. Next year I guess we will just not eat for 12 days, because this new system is not going to work. :headache:

That's thinking positively! :lmao:
I do agree that all of the Disney web sites have major performance issues.
hopefully they will have it figured out before you go next year.
Our "90 day" date is March 30th!!!!:scared1:
So believe me.... I'm worried! This is a special vacation for our family and we plan on the luau and at least 2 character meals .....
I hope I don't have major problems the morning of the 30th!
