I just called to add a couple ADRs for the 1st of May, & nothing was different. I had the same voice prompts & the same questions they were asking before. If things were different this morning, it must have been a trial run.

I go under the assumption that:

1) We are all short a few fries and a nugget or two;

2) People edit posts all the time and the context gets lost

Could be. I posted this on the DVC planning board and someone else heard the same prompts I did. As I said in the beginning, they had a lot of trouble pulling me up into the system, maybe they are ironing out the bugs. I just hope this means online dining reservations are coming up!!!

I completely understand the whole new ADR 90 day process, but was wondering if people are getting confused between online checkin (resorts) and online dining reservations? The reason I ask is because I haven't heard anything about making dining reservations online, just that the online checkin should be beginning in February, which was originally suppose to start in January.

Because our trip was orig. going to be from May 1st thru May 13, was changed to May 13 thru June 1st, I have made MANY (don't even care to know how many) adr's this month and had to cancel quite a few (hope someone was excited to get the Le Cellier adr I cancelled)
During these calls several cm's made comments to me inregards to online adr reservations.
They said things like, "wont you be happy when you can start doing this online," and "I will be happy when people start doing some of their cancellations and bookings online".
These comments are what have led me to believe that on line adr booking is at least a possibility and the change this morning made me excited to think it could be a possibility!!
Well...off to work!!

For our big trip, AAA made ADRs for me but since we are just going two days, I'm going to make us a few just in case. Is one phone number good for all restaurants?? I may make one for Fultons if that is included? and where can I find the Number to call?

Yes, CM, CRT, and V&A are taking reservations through June 21 (or something like that) or 90 days, which ever is further out.

just wanted people to know the ease by which I gots ADR's. I got everything I wanted at the times I wanted for my May trip. strangly the hardest reservation to get was the Kona cafe at 7pm. She said I got the very last table. Strange because i was making reservations at the Cali Grill and Le Cellier!

When I called today to make reservation for May 27th thay had the old automated system up. I got connected to a cm and she had to transfer me to the "new" department for reservations after May 25th.
I asked about online booking and the cm said they can't start that as the computer system "can't handle it."
I liked it much better yesterday with only about a two min. wait. Today my hold time was approx 30 min altogether, due to needing to be transfered etc.

The "new" system is only booking as of today for the 26th & 27th of May, tomorrow will be the 28th, next day the 29th and so on.

It could be the 90+10 (you can book up to 10 days after check-in)

Okay, now I'm really confused!
I thought you still had to wait till 90 days from your "arrival" then you can go forward the 10 days.
Not 10 days previous to arrival.
So it's actually 100 days??????
