when you call the dining number 1-407-wdw-dine the "announcement" when on hold says all ressies are for 90 days out except for a few - CM and CRT are stating for 180 days

thank you.

it is all so confusing...and the 1st page in this post says that its up to june...ack.

I will just cross my fingers for the 180 days.....!!!!

Just want to let you all know that I called today to switch our Chef Mickey breakfast to another day and had no problems... I had no wait at all too and I got the time I wanted.

I called to change our Chef Mickey's today too!! I added a dinner on May 1st (kept our other CM ADR for now until May hours come out). I wanted as close to 5pm as possible and I got 5:10! I was surprised. :thumbsup2

The CM started to tell me that I couldn't book it yet, then I reminded her what I knew and she said, "oh, I'm sorry, that's right, you shouldn't have to tell me the policy!" It was funny - but I can see how people are getting conflicting information.

They are only booking until June 19. Originally it was an 'error' on the CM's part. Disney has since changed it to official policy.

It's different because prior to the policy change (90 days) Disney had entered the info for these three up through June 19.

Because Disney is honoring the ADR's made up through this date, they left those reservations open.

HAHA that is funny about the CM lol.

I'm glad you were able to get what you wanted!:thumbsup2

We only have 7 more days until we are able to make our food reservations. This isn't our first trip, and we usually do a few regulars...But does anyone have some suggestion of "DO NOT MISS" restaurants? We have 2 small girls and like character dining....but we are not opposed to trying non-character dining.:goodvibes

Better change your post to "only 97 days". :goodvibes

Yipee I got the 3 Res I needed Safari Breakfast 1900 Park Fare Dinner and BBB for DD same day..Yipee finally

 I know! I was so excited because once you hit that 180 day mark and can book your ressies it seems like the trip is officially on!
Now I have to wait for a new date! April 26th!!!!!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong though-but I keep reading things and make sure that I'm reading correctly-my trip is in August. I cannot book CRT or CM until the 90 days at that point, right? Just making sure! Thanks!

Yes, you can not make your reservations until 90 days from check-in (if you're staying on site) or 90 days from the day you want to dine at a certain location.

I was just told by a cm on the phone that resort dwellers could make ADRs 90 + 10 days in advance, or 100 days in advance. Do you think he just misstated (or I misunderstood) the rule about making ADRs 90 days in advance of check in for up to 10 days of a vacation beginning at check in?

It's 90 days from your check in for up to the 10 days after.

Are you staying on property? If you are staying on Disney property you can make ONE CALL for the entire trip (up to ten days 90 + 10)...

If you are staying off property, you need to call 90 days from each date you want to book.

We are staying at the POP so I better get ready to make my ressies on Sunday then! Thanks so much :goodvibes

Hi All!

I am one of the lucky people whose ADR window seems to be opening the day before their park hours are being released (or day of, we are going on May 1st, which makes 90 days Jan. 31st.) Anywho... so I have been trying to make my ADR plan and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how best to go about doing this. I'm West coast, so I will be getting up at 4am. Now here are my questions...

* Should I wait and see if the park hours are released that morning before calling, frantically plugging in all of our choices? (Did I mention we're doing the Deluxe Dining plan so its a lot of choices!? yikes!)

* Or should I make a plan based on last years' May hours and call with that the morning of the 31st and make changes once the hours are released?

* Or should I make my plan based on the April hours the week before, call with that plan and then make changes as needed once the hours are released?

I have CRT, CM, and V&A booked already and are hoping I will not have to try and switch them around. I am most concerned about places like Le Cellier not knowing which will be our Epcot days yet.

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you! :goodvibes

I had the same problem last year, even on Deluxe Dining. What I did was base it off Touring Plans crowd calender and of the standard EMH schedule. Then if the hours came out and a couple were really off from what I planned I called and changed my dining plans. (I had to do this with a few reservations on my last couple of trips)

Don't suppose anyone has had any reply from Disney about May hours, have they?! I get to book on Feb 1st at loooooooong last, and as I'm calling from the UK I don't really want to have to ring back a few days later to make changes!!
