ADR System Upgrade - History

I think it's a good idea to drop down to 90 days. I think it would be good if they went to 60.

On Sunday, 12/20, I made group dining ressies for Chef Mickey's on June 6.

Should I feel lucky, or could I do the same today?

My understanding is that we were lucky in the sense that at the time they hadn't gone to 90 days for CM, V&A and whatever the other was. Now we'd have to wait the 90.

I wonder every day, several times a day, why no one seems to check the "UPDATE". Maybe you should revise the title to "ADR System Updates-- PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU ASK ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT WHEN YOU CAN BOOK!" and put it it big red letters.

If you are a part of a registered Grand Gathering you can make your Grand Gathering reservations at 180 days yet.

I was able to book CRT for 6/12 and CM for 6/19. I had called twice, as I forgot about the CM ADR. The first call went fine, the second time the CM told me I couldn' make the ADR for June. I told her I just made two of them earlier this morning, please check. Well, I was able to make it. She didn't know that CM was still accepting ADRs for 180 days. She thought it fell into the 90 day.

The good thing about 90 is that maybe we might have the park schedule...Many times we did not at 180 days...I am just worried that the lines will be busier at 90 days...I never had problems at 180 days...I strongly believe that was because the "average" person did not call at 180 days...I think many people will call at 90 days...

I agree with PP. Last year we booked ADRs without a park schedule and by the time they came out, we had a mess. MNSSHP was thrown into a day, they announced the closing of PI, and on and on. We were unable to change many of ours around because everything was allready booked up (free dining proomo). So we did alot of running around on our last trip.

I like the 90 day window. Planning 6 months in advanced is do-able, but problematic for me.

I just called disney dining and got all of my ADR's with all the times i wanted. Ohana, Lecelier, floridian cafe, coral reef, and mama melrose for fantasmic package. I was so excited now it really feels like our trip is in full swing!!!!! Come on March 28th~!!!!!!!

I'm so happy for you! I know how tough it can be! I hope I have the same luck on Jan 21st for our April trip.

Wishing you lots of pixie dust on your ADR's, the only one i was concerned about was Ohana, and Le Cellier becasue when i said them the lady kinda was like ohhh i was ready to scream anticipating she was gonna say a NO GO!!! Lots of dust going your way!!!!!

I was able to book my dining ADR's for after March 22 2009.
I was told they will be excepting ADR's 90 days in advance ....until the new system is in place.

I am just happy to know that i will be able to finally make my ressies!!!! It just figures though..I am off for 2 weeks and my 90 day mark is the day I go back to work!

Is this for Grand Gathering experiences only? I am part of a registered Grand Gathering, but we are not planning on taking part of any of Grand Gathering experiences...we are, however, on the dining plan so we will be making our ADR's for many meals. Do I have to wait until the 90 days out for that or can I may 180 days since I am a part of a registered Grand Gathering?

I wouldn't count on an updated on their website until after the first of the year. Unfortunately their website is pretty unreliable for finding good information. I believe that they still have an active link to the 'current' restaurants for the DDP, which is from 2006 at the earliest.

I am hoping that since it's the holidays that this will be updated to reflect 90 days soon.
