Is this for Grand Gathering experiences only? I am part of a registered Grand Gathering, but we are not planning on taking part of any of Grand Gathering experiences...we are, however, on the dining plan so we will be making our ADR's for many meals. Do I have to wait until the 90 days out for that or can I may 180 days since I am a part of a registered Grand Gathering?

I re-read the information that was sent to me and it is for Grand Gathering Experiences only.

(I wanted to verify since I didn't remember the specifics.)

The good thing about 90 is that maybe we might have the park schedule...Many times we did not at 180 days...I am just worried that the lines will be busier at 90 days...I never had problems at 180 days...I strongly believe that was because the "average" person did not call at 180 days...I think many people will call at 90 days...

What ever, it is what it is.

I don't understand why the lines would be busier - if you have 1000 people who want to eat on April 1st, wouldn't they call either Oct 1st or Jan 1st, and still be the same 1000 people wanting to eat on April 1st?:confused3 Or I know some people don't make plans 180 days out, but in that case the ones making plans at 90 days might call on the same day as others who are planning farther in advance.

I just called disney dining and got all of my ADR's with all the times i wanted. Ohana, Lecelier, floridian cafe, coral reef, and mama melrose for fantasmic package. I was so excited now it really feels like our trip is in full swing!!!!! Come on March 28th~!!!!!!!

Congratulations!!! Feels good, doesn't it! I noticed that I got through after only a 1 minute wait - so no worries.:thumbsup2

Get rid of ADR's all together.. they cause nothing but STREEESSSSSS:eek:

ever make plans 6 months in advance for dinner then not feel like what you had planned?

I KNOW! I don't really having to make a plan, just to be able to eat somewhere nice. I wish they would save half the tables for walk-ins and then we could just find something we feel like when we feel like it - the whole reason we are renting a car is to cut down on ADR stress while taking the buses.

So for my trip that begins on 4/11, my 90 day mark is 1/11. Does this mean I can book for my whole trip that goes through 4/18 or will I have to call each day?

I can make some of my ADR's today, yippee! Does anyone know if I can book BBB using the 90 + 10 days rule too?

Also one of the ADR's i need to make is for the Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose, does anyone know what sort of time the booking window starts from and what time it goes to?

Thanks

x

Even though it's now 90 days, the official WDW website still shows 180 days for dining reservations. :confused3

The official WDW site also has ten-year-old pictures of the room interiors at POR before the last rehab. I wouldn't pay too much attention to what it says there.

If you are staying on property you can make all your ressies, if not you have to call each day that is the 90 day mark.

You can call on the first day to book everyday of your trip up to ten days if you are staying on property...On property have the 90 days +10 advantage, which means you do not have to call every day....People off property must call everyday.

Our trip is March 19th through April 1st. I called on the 24th of this month and made all my reservations. Interesting though I called member services for my DVC because I usually let them make my dining reservations and they said I could not book anything past March 22th. I told them I had heard people were making them 90 days out and she said they could not but to call dining and she connected me and it worked.

Does anyone know if this change in ADR's will effect the reservation times for Lunch with an 'imagineer? Currently you have 60 days advance window.

Today is my 90 day out. I called and was told to call back around the 11th or 12th of January?????:confused3 This is getting beyond frustrating and aggravating. :headache:

I was told the same but insisted she check and lo and behold ADR's could be made.

My trip is March 27 through April 4 and I was able to make all of my reservations this morning. Got everything I wanted :cool1:

New 90 day booking window in effect for Disney dining starting on Dec 26, 2008

Disney has officially changed it's dining policy regarding restaurant reservations. Instead of a 180 days, the booking window has been scaled back to 90 days as of Dec 23rd. This also applies to recreation and tour reservations as well. The only exception will be Cirque du Soleil which will continue to accept reservations up to 180 days in advance.

Existing dining reservations are not impacted by this change, and those traveling on a 'Grand Gatherings' package will be able to book 180 days out.

So this is a permanent change and not temporary ?

From my own conversation with a CM at dining and from information I gathered from another thread (I think it might have been the ADR sticky thread at the top of Disney Dining forum) it is a permanent decision.

Of course, Disney will review the feedback it gets and could quite possibly change it again in coming years. I don't expect anything to change before they give it a good trial period.

I would try again. I think you might have gotten a confused CM.
I am going 3/27-4/3 and I was able to make all my ADR's this morning.

We'll be there the same time. I was also able to get everything we wanted as well. I was a little worried!
