ADR System Upgrade - History

Can I make ADR's for June 3rd at Chef Mickey's yet? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but with all these changes I'm confused!!

You can make ADR's for Chef Mickeys, Cinderella's Royal Table and/or Victoria & Alberts at 180 days.

180 days for June 3 is December 5th.

All other locations are accepting reservations only to March 22.

Thanks for the update!

I had to rearrange things since my trip cuts in between the last date I could make ADR's. Instead of doing CM at the beginning of the vacation I am now doing it at the end so I could book something else at the beginning. I just wnated to have the ADR! LOL Impatient!

I only need to make two more ADR's. 12/22 can't get hear fast enough!

Is anyone else waiting for Disney to post May's park hours?! I am so bored of checking every morning!!! Its bad enough we can't book meals yet, but if we could at least start planning the days I would feel like I was doing something!!

I emailed them on November 3rd asking how long they told me it would be (impatient!!) and was told it would be a couple of days!

Just wanted to keep you guys updated on the new dining reservations.

I just spoke with a castmember who said their new ADR system should be up and running be up and running in a couple of weeks.

This was just updated today on the sticky at the top of the Restaurant Board that is tracking all news about the new ADR system. DisneyDine is a CM who has been wonderful giving us up to date information.

DH and I are going to WDW for our anniversary in March and I haven't even bothered to call yet. I'll be really disappointed if I can't get an ADR at Cali Grill for Wishes!!

We're staying at Poly LVC and the planning people there told me they would take care of my ADR's. I gave them a list of everything we want but I want to make sure I'm not missing out!

Every thing is open up through March 22. March 23 (and later) is just Chef Mickey's, CRT and Victoria and Albert's - subject to the normal 180 day rule.

Hi...I just called to book dining reservations for April 1st - 7th, and was told they're not able to do that now because of impending system enhancement. The CM didn't seem too sure about when they're going to start taking them. Has anyone else received more detailed information about the time frames? I booked a package with Deluxe Dining for the first time and am concerned about not being able to get some of the reservations I wanted. Thanks so much!

I heard on a Disney podcast a while back that Disney would be upgrading their system to link ADRs to your reservation number in order to cut down on the number of duplicate reservations people are making. This should make it easier to get ADRs overall. The other rumor was that it would also be upgraded to made ADR's online which would be really great. I've got my fingers crossed for online ADRs.

I hopethey don't! I am not able to be on line as often as I can be on phone !!

i've called a couple times, and keep getting told, they are only accepting reservations until march 22nd? is this true? when should we be able to make reservations for our april trip? i don't want to keep calling back every single day

They've been working on updating the dining reservation system. As with any computer upgrade/overhaul, the drop schedule has been moved back several times. Disney will announce when the time frame has been adjusted for new reservations after March 22nd.

I believe there are a few restaurants like Cinderella's castle and Chef Mickey's where you can still make reservations as normal.

But no one can make other reservations after March 22nd. And when the next round is announced, expect the phone lines to be jammed at 7:00 AM the day you can start making reservations.

We'd still be able to make ressies on the phone as well. Just like booking vacation packages. Even though we are able to make them online, I still insist on calling and talking to a CM. That's half the magic afterall...and if you see my PTR you'll see why I love the CM's at WDW.
