any idea on when they are going to open it up again? I'm waiting to make our reservations for May but was just told they are still waiting for the new system to upgrade so for now it's only 3 months not 6

I merged this into the sticky thread about ADR's so you'll receive updates when the system goes live.

You'll find the answers to your questions in the first post. That's the post that will be changed when we hear any updates, so everything is in one easy to find place.

Called right at 7 AM this morning, got right through and got my CM and CRT ressies with no problem for 5/2 and 5/5. Got both within 15 minutes of my desired time! Now to wait for December.... I'm most concerned about LeCellier for our last evening.

Hey I called at 7am too and got our CM and CRT for 5/2 and 5/6! Got both within 15 minutes of our time and we have tables for 8. I was stressed for no reason. It couldn't have gone smoother.

Now to wait for the new system to go online......

That's great, esp. for tables of 8! We almost had an oopsy - I got CRT first, and it's just DD and I going to that, which I told her. Then when we did CM, she didn't ask how many and I didn't tell her at first. Luckily, I realized she hadn't asked, told her and we were able to do it without problem.

I'm hoping as they've staggered the windows so far, 22 Feb, 22 March they might open up until 22 April by the end of this month. Here's hoping!

How do you know when they open up more dates? This thread? Or Disney site? Thanks!

does anyone know when the park hours updates on the disney website? we're waiting the the emh to update to may so we can book our adr's.

we're basing what park on what day based on the extra magic hours.

I know they are making changes to the ADR system, and things are "on hold" for now. Do you have any idea when things will be back to normal? I would like to make my ADRs as soon as possible. We're travelling 4/22-4/28/09. We're almost 5 months away now.

Has anyone heard anything recently?

Keep your eye on this thread. It generally updates sooner than the Disney site.

I believe that Dec. 22 is the new date they are giving for ressies after 3/22.

We will be there April 23 through May 2 and my TA told me they open up on December 21.

Don't forget, you can still make ressies for CRT, Chef Mickey's, and Victoria and Albert's 180 days out. So if any of those are on your list to dine at, you may have already missed your window. We are also going in April (April 26th-May 3rd). On the morning of October 28th I made ressies for CRT! If you are arriving on April 22nd, your 180 day mark should have been on October 24th. Good luck!

Ok my 180 day marker for CRT and Chef Mickey's is Friday. Can someone please explain what you do when you call for reservations. If my date isn't open can they check any of the dates/times for me in my 8 day stay? I have never made a dining reservation before.

You will probably have no problems getting CRT and Chef Mickey's for the times and dates that you want.

However, if your times aren't available, they will be able to check other dates and times for you.

I just spoke with 2 different CM's today (at the ADR phone #) and they both told me a launch date of Nov. 21st. If this date is pushed back until December, then why aren't the CM's giving that date?? We are anxiously awaiting the day we can make our ADR's for our May trip!!

I can't answer for them. I know that Disney Dine posted a cut/paste from the CM's 'notes' screen and that indicated late December. This date was confirmed by quite a few CM's at the time that the window was opened til March 22.

Definitely try again around November 21 to see if it changes back. You may get lucky.

welcome to the Dis, so glad you found us

We post the information that we have available that is give to the DIS as well as a CM who shares info with us. Why a CM told you a diff date lots of CMs are not always up on top of the latest

hang out here every so often and we will post updates as we know them

I called to make my 180 days out ADRS and was told by a CM that they are unable to book at 180 days. She told me to call back weekly as they get new times but officially I can't book until December? What did I miss here? Does anyone know what the deal is with reservations?
