ADR System Upgrade - History

We went 4 times on the DDP and never had a problem. And we never called back to confirm before leaving on the trip. Maybe we were lucky?

I'm a bit worried about how long it will take to get through once they open my dates in April...I've made Chef Mickey already but am waiting on the rest. Here's hoping they open ADR's for April earlier than the end of December. Guess I'll just keep checking here for the most up to date info

Best advice is to keep calling the ADR phone number every week to see if you can make reservations for your trip yet or not. Every time I called after my 180 day mark for my March reservations, the CM's would give me different info about when I would be able to do it, so I just called weekly and finally this past week, I was able to make mine for March 15-20. I wouldn't trust what they tell you on the phone when they say check back in December...take 5 minutes or less once a week and check for yourself to be safe. Good luck!

My family and I are going to DW in April 2009. I have only been to DW twice before. I am a little nervous about having to wait until December sometime to make my ADR's. We have the regular dining plan. Am I the only one, or does anybody else think that the phone lines are going to be a bit tied up with all this waiting and possibly not getting some of your ADR's for your trip? This is the first time with the dining plan and I am hoping that my daughter and nephew will get to go to the places that were originally planned on.

We are going in April too, and I am in a panic! Not having my ADR's made (besides Chef Mickey) is driving me batty! And yes, I am worried about a phone system overload once the dates are open... hopefully it will all work out in the end...

I was up prior to 7 and in a panic because everyone said it would be impossible to get through etc etc.

I got through my first time, waited less than 5 min for a CM and got all the ADR's and times I wanted and was done in less than 15 min total. That was for the week of March 15 through 22. So IMO I wouldnt get too worried about calling because I was for nothing.

IT all worked out fine.

I just called to make adrs for March 19 through March 31. Because they are reworking the system I could only make them for March 19,20,21. They said they should have the new system up and running sometime in Dec. I just wondered if they have been adding dates as they go along that you can reserve. I thought I would just keep calling for an update. Has anyone noticed this as they get closer to their vacation?

times now where dates have been opened. Originally the 180 day window ran through Jan 24th with a 90 day window for most restaurants. In September ADRs through Feb 22nd were opened. A couple of weeks ago the window was opened until March 22nd as you found out.

I would keep an eye on the board for further updates. If they do hit an early December roll out for the new system there may be no extensions, but who knows.

I called yesterday for ADRs for March 14-21. I was on hold for about 2 minutes and had my choice of times for all of our ADRs. It was a breeze!

I was nervous because this seems to be a very popular Spring Break week - but not as bad as the Easter weeks, but pretty booked.

Called right at 7 AM this morning, got right through and got my CM and CRT ressies with no problem for 5/2 and 5/5. Got both within 15 minutes of my desired time! Now to wait for December.... I'm most concerned about LeCellier for our last evening.
