I really hope the 22nd is true!! That's be very nice.

That way by the time my ADR date comes (Feb 3rd), it will have calmed down. :rotfl:

Makes me glad I have a TA to make my ADRs.

Help

We are booked for June at the Poly w/ Deluxe Dining. When can I start making my ADRs? Is it 180 day? 190 days? something else? It is quickly approaching and I want to book b'fast in the Castle.

TIA for all the help.

I am going to move this so it's in the ADR Sticky thread. All of the updates that you need for making reservations for your upcoming vacation are in the first post on that thread.

It's kind of confusing because of the system update. You almost need a "Degree in Disney" to figure it all out - but the first post is a pretty good set of Cliff Notes. :rotfl:

Say it isn't so! I am due to make ADR's on Dec. 15 but yesterday when I called to set up our Disney Dining Plan the CM told me to call back on the
22nd for ADR's. Now I just read this thread and see why the 22nd.
I will be making ADR's with thousands of other people, and all of us want CRT.:headache:
It is tough getting to Disney World. Should vacation be this much work:confused:

Check the first post in this thread, CRT is one of the three exceptions that can still be booked at the full 180 days out, so don't miss out on your booking date for that one.

But you're right, Disney aren't making it easy for people to plan.

Thank You Andre for your post! I read the first page after I posted. It does make me feel some better knowing I still have a shot at CRT. I will do a bit more work and decide some alternates if I cannot get the reservations I want. :earsboy:Things always look brighter in the morning!:wave2:

The only good thing is that they have NO ADRS set for my May date as yet so if I try at 12.01 on the 22nd and can get thru I might get everything I want ! Or is this wishful thinking . Then of course they might not even be ready on the 22nd !! The suspense is killing me at this rate I may be booking my Sept dates at the same time.LOL!!

Y'know, the more I think about it the less I worry about it. Regardless of when the window or new system opens, not everyone will be calling at the same time for the same ADR's on the same days. I think everyone will be able to get what they want.

Folks are probably still calling daily and many call on 30-90 days prior to their vacation. No worries ....... :flower3:

Don't get up(or stay up) to call at 12:01 AM on the 22nd. The dining reservation doesn't open until 7am Eastern Time.

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could shed a little light on the ADR system updates for me. We have a trip coming up (DW's & DMIL's Birthday trip) in June, so our 180 is rapidly approaching (this coming Tuesday, I think). Does anyone know the status of the ADR system? Will I be able to attempt all of our ADR's at this point or just the 3 that are unaffected by the system upgrade (CM, CRT, V&A)? Any info will be greatly appreciated!!!

Currently the date is 12/22 for the remainder of the ADR system to open back up. Check the "Restaurant" Board...there is a sticky at the top of the first page that is updated regularly and contains the info you need to prep.

Have they opened up ADRs past March 22nd yet

Thanks guys :thumbsup2

NO...darn the luck. I just got off the phone (12:44 p.m. CST)...was getting a reservation for our January trip...CM said they only have the "old" info of new system launching 12/21/2008. But repeated what we already know from DisneyDine...that they won't get trained until January so she didn't know if they'll be really be taking reservations past 3/22 then or not. So, no news...

Except, if January bookings are any indication, we should have plenty of choices when they open up the bookings...I had no problem getting my restaurant choices & times (in fact had multiple time choices in my time ranges.) So, there's hope yet:woohoo:

Is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the same reservation line? How hard will that be to get an early appt. in the morning at the castle on June 16? Now I have no idea when to try to get the appt. I am not as concerned about the dining(but I want those too) but really need this appt or else I will have a very disappointed 4 year old "princess". Any advise is always greatly appreciated!

Yes. They are not taking any reservations for BBB yet either. I need one for April but I am more concerned about our ADRs than the BBB. We are going during Easter vacation and now it is going to be very crowded that week.

We are going then too! Hopefully we aren't trying to get the same ADRs;)
I have never been this late making them.:sad1:

I was thinking today. You know who I REALLY feel bad for in this mess, IF they open up late March - current ressies all at the same time, on 12/22 or whatever date. The people for whom that is their 180 days!!! Trying to get CRT or CM in that mess of calls!

I couldn't find my answer on a search but I know it has probably been asked a thousand times on this site.
Please tell me if I can make my CRT reservations 180 days out from arrival day and then for 10 days after that even though I will have to wait for the new system on December 22 for the remaining reservations. We are staying on Disney property.
Or.... can I only make a reservation for CRT exactly at the 180 day mark.:thanks: :faint:

Let's say you are arriving on June 10, but want to go to CRT on June 15. You would call 180 days from June 10, and tell the CM that you're checking in on June 10. You'll be able to make CRT reservations for June 15.

December 22 is ONLY a rumor and from what I am hearing now (that makes more sense) December 22 is becoming more and more unlikely for a launch date. Our reputable CM (who hasn't ever been wrong) and another CM that someone here talked to today said that they won't even be trained on the new system until January.

However, yes. You will only be able to make reservations for CRT, CM and V&A at 180 days until the system launches. Once the system launches, you'll be able to make reservations for other restaurants.
