I am planning a mother daughter trip for 2/1-7 dd has a cheer competition in orlando that weekend and since it is mardi gras weekend she is out of school so I decided to extend our stay for more than the weekend we will also be doing the PPP on 2/5 MARDI GRAS DAY. We will be on the ddp.

Fri 2/1~ we arrive I am not sure yet when we will be arriving so I don't really plan on having a TS b/c if we drive we will probaby not make it there for even a late dinner.

2/2-3 we will be at the competition I am not sure what the times are right now and since it is not on disney property I don't know how the time will go. If anyone has done, does, or will be doing this any advice will be wonderful. This is our first time.

2/4~ Chef Mickey's 8.20am MGM EEMH
2/5~ 1900 ParkFare 4.30pm PPP I am also trying for a ressie at BBB MK
2/6~ Donald's Breakfast 9.25am AK EEMH

2/7~ I was thinking about changing Chef Mickey's to this day b/c we will be leaving and I am not certain when we will be leaving yet.

I still have 3 TS's to use but can't decide where to use them and I am trying to surprise dd for xmas. These are the places that dd and I like or want to try.

MK~ Crystal Palace, Tony's Town Square, Ohana Breakfast
Epcot~ Akershus Dinner, Garden Grill, Rose N Crown
MGM~ 50's Cafe, Sci fi, Hollywood N Vine Lunch

I was thinking of Akershus or one of the restaruants in MGM for the 4th. She would prefer not to go to 50's but I am craving their fried chicken and fried cheese, sci fi I just want to try the chicken sandwich, HnV would be rough since we have a sit down buffet breakfast unless we change it. Other than that I am just stumped right now b/c I don't have times for the competition.

Thanks

Ithink you would both love Crystal Palace.....the food is fantastic for everyone...they had so much food to offer.....
In Epcot how about Biergarten ....the food is pretty good and a good assortment for those who do not want German type sausages. also the entertainment is good.
Hollywood and Vine is another good buffet with everything to offer. We usually do this place for the Fantasmic Pkg too......either way it is good...
I Love Donalds Breakfast too, I think you will all love that one.
Your days will be really full .....so have fun and enjoy your daughter time

Thanks Pumba for replying. We did biergarten and liked it and do really like the entertainment. DD has eaten at CP before but I have not so I was interested in trying it. We have never done dinner at akershus so that would be a first for both of us and from looking at the menu I think we will both enjoy it plus we get our princess fix. Have you been to the new donalds breakfast or just the old one.

We did the Akershus lunch last year and really enjoyed it; I believe dinner is similar. And it does fulfill that princess fix! princess:

I agree with the previous poster, Crystal Palace is a good pick for any meal.

If you're planning on MGM EMH, you do need to plan for dinner. I seem to recall that only a few places stay open and your dinner options are limited if you don't have a plan.

I really like 50's... mostly because I LOVE THE POTROAST!:upsidedow

I'm not a big CP fan, but I love Akershus. We always go at lunch, but I do think dinner is very similar. It's cozy, quieter than other character meals, and the interaction with the princesses is great.princess:

How fun to do a mother/daughter trip. I think that's a fabulous idea. I did the BBB for my DD this year and it was just wonderful. It IS as good as everyone says it is! Have fun!:goodvibes
