ADR Questions

We are going to be going 11/29-12/6 and I was wondering about ADR's.

When we went in 2005 at a similar time of year we were able to get ADR's the night before for most not in high demand restaurants. This was to places like Mama Melrose's, Tony's Town Square, Whispering Canyon, Tutto Italia, etc...

Have things changed since then? How far in advance will I need to get ADR's for these types of restaurants?

With free dining in effect for the rest of the year, I'd say as soon as possible - your 90 day mark or soon thereafter. You will likely not have much luck the night before for any in-park restaurants, especially those with characters. The exceptions might be Nine Dragons or Marrakesh which sometimes have space available later.

If there are restaurants you know you want, book those as soon as possible, or you may end up having to settle for very late dining times or even different restaurants.
