Alright those that are pro's at free dining I need some major help. I will be in Disney 8/16 - 8/20. This will be my first time with free dining. My questions first:

1) How is the free dining broken down? Is it a certain # of TS & CS?
2) When booking ADR's what do I say?
3) For CRT and others that require CC's, how does that work?

Now for the resturants I am looking at, need opinions please.

Chef Mickey's
Ohana
Tutto Italia(new to me)
Le Cellier(new to me)
Plaza Resturant(new to me)
Crystal Palace
Prime Time 50's Cafe
Whispering Canyon(new to me)

I will be a party of 1 so another question would be for the 4 new ones. Are those good places for solo diners?

It's 1 TS, 1 CS and 1 snack per person per NIGHT of your stay (not how many days you have tickets for.)

2) When booking ADR's what do I say? They will want your hotel confirmation number & a phone number. They will ask if you're on the dining plan - you just say yes.

3) For CRT and others that require CC's, how does that work? They still take your credit card number for a hold -- they do not charge it at this time. If you do not show up, they will charge you the full price.

Chef Mickey's We liked breakfast here, great way to see Mickey & friends
Ohana haven't done
Tutto Italia(new to me) haven't done
Le Cellier(new to me) we liked dinner here
Plaza Resturant(new to me) we liked lunch here (love the ice cream desserts)
Crystal Palace have done dinner here twice, liked it. fun characters
Prime Time 50's Cafe haven't done it
Whispering Canyon(new to me) haven't done it

Can't answer your question about solo dining...have never done it. But sounds like fun -- enjoy!:wizard:

When I'm eating by myself I don't make ADRS and eat inside the restaurants, so I can't really answer about the solo dining. I eat at the counters and bars. None of those you listed (except Prime Time) has a counter or bar (I love Tune In Lounge) and you can't use the dining plan at the bar anyway.
