]I'm in the process of planning a trip for DH and I for May 18 thru June 1 2013. I always buy an annual pass, so I wait until the pass holder rates come out to book our room and I have never had an issue getting the resort I want. This trip is an adult only trip, so we plan to eat well. I am buying the TiW card and we'll pay out of pocket for our meals. My question is, am I able to book dinner reservations without a reservation number? Then do I need to book each day after the 180 day period for 14 days of the trip?

You'll be able to make reservations one day at a time when the 180 day mark comes up. You just won't be able to take advantage of the 180 + 10 perk that comes with having an onsite res. At 180 days anyone - on site, off site, locals - are eligible to make ADRs.

If you know you are definitely going that week, why not just go ahead and make a room only ressie somewhere, so you have a reservation number. You can then make all your dining ADRs for the whole week at the 180 day mark. When the AP discount comes out, you can apply the discount to the resort you booked or moved the ressie to another resort. If you made a reservation now, all it would cost you is a one night deposit. I do that all the time, to make sure I can get everything I want at 180 days out.

Thank you:)

Finances are not available until January, but thank you for the advice. :)
