I'm thinking of booking a package w/free dining for the first week of October. I know I'm out of luck on CRT breakfast/lunch since it's less than 90 days out. Will I have the same problem with other restaurants and if so, which ones?

I think you will have trouble with some- Le Cellier is one- I tried yesterday and today for the first week of October for a party of 6 and am out of luck. It will also depend on your party size- they said they could split us up to two tables if I wanted. Also, if you are willing to eat at early, early times (4-5 pm) or later times (8pm) you will probably have more luck!

Good lucK!

Hi,

No way of knowing which restaurants wil be booked solid. I suggest you call with your requests and see what's available...that's the easiest way to figure it out!

Good luck,

Bob

I booked our trip this morning! Sept 30 - Oct 3.

I had a hard time getting ADRs at MK MNSSHP nights. They had nothing at the Castle or LTT.

They had nothing at the Castle Saturday night either.

When I first called the guy said there was nothing at PSB at Epcot. When I called back, lunch was available almost every day I was there.

I had no problems with the rest of my ADRs.

Good luck

I just booked lunch at CRT for 9/16 and we are less than 60 days out...so don't give up until you try!

Good luck!

Keep trying for cancellations. On our May trip, we caught cancellations for CRT, 1900, and CP right before we left on our trip. Sadly, we weren't able to snag Le Cellier or Chefs. So...we're visiting them next week.

I don't think you should have a problem with almost anywhere except for CRT and PSB.

However, later dining times at MK and MGM aren't released until closer to the actual date...they wait until hours are truly finalized not first published. Call back 2-3 weeks out for those.

If you are a party of 5 or 6 and are offerd two tables...take it. Our family is 5 and have never been seated apart even when booked at two tables.

If you do run into problems, try back maybe a week out. I'm pretty certain all tables aren't released right away. ;)

I'm 32 days out and I was able to get ADRs for Spoodles, 1900 PF, and Hollywood and Vine, great times too. I wanted Le Cellier for lunch but that wasn't available, there were times for dinner but we'd be in there during Illuminations, not only do my kids not do well waiting so late for dinner, but they LOVE Illuminations.

You don't know until you call! We've never had a problem, however, the dining plan is new and no one really knows how it will affect availability.

The dining plan is relatively new but we've been to WDW twice since it has started and have found the situation the same for making ADRs. Now maybe the month of Sept will be different with so many people getting free dining. I did also think the restaurants seemed busier in May than during our Feb/March trip. So I think it is more important to make ADRs now but still don't think the OP will have much if any trouble this far out.

Thanks everyone! You all have been most helpful and encouraging. :goodvibes I really want to book this trip but am waiting on a call from DH's Dr before I do. He had a biopsy last week and we're still waiting on the pathology report. Dr and pathologist took a quick look at it and don't think it's cancer, however they said not to rule it out until the offical report comes back (hope to have that answer on Monday). I'm afraid if I go ahead and book now, I will jinks that. We had originally planned on going the first week of December but that has been scrapped because his boss really screwed him over (when it rains, it pours) and we both want him to be gone from this company before then, which means we wouldn't be able to go during that timeframe. So everything hinges on what the report says... DH's health comes first and if we can't do this, so be it. I just want to have my ducks in a row in case we can, kwim? Thanks again! :)
