Disney dining is down 6-9-09

The same thing happened yesterday morning. We got through right at 7:00 am to make our initial reservations. When I called back a half hour later to try to make a change, they said their system was being "enhanced." I feel your frustration.
 
Oh grrrreat!!! Now i'm sitting here rethinking and changing my ressie plans!!!! They better get that system fixed before my whole trip is replanned!!!!:rotfl:
 
I am experiencing the same.Called twice since 7 am this morning.I figured I'd hit the boards to find out any further info.I am kinda impatient,so starting at 8 I'll call every 15 mins till I get my ADR's !

It seemed like FOREVER when the minutes were counting down for them to open at 7am orlando time. Now it seems like the minutes are flying by its already been 48 minutes system down! :confused3 Maybe its just me. Anyone else feel this way?
 
It's driving me crazy - it's almost 1pm in the UK & I have to go out in a while. I want to cry. :headache:
 
I was half way through and the system froze up! This is after I called right @ 7 got right through and was told the system was down. I went ahead and called back got right through again and half way through.....ARGH!!! :mad:

The first time I called in the CM told me to call back at about 8am. I am going to try again in about 5 mins.

Keep trying. I was able to get a lovely reservationist who was able to get into the system and make my ADRs. YEAH!!!!!! Confrimation #s and everything. Most people around her were having trouble.
 
Keep trying I just got a WONDERFUL reservationist my 2nd attempt to make ADRs and she was able to access her system. It froze once while we were on but she was able to start again and still get me my reservations within 5 mins of the originals. I have confirmation #s for all of them so I am assuming I am ALL DONE!!!
She did say LOTS of people were experiencing issues but her computer seemed mostly uneffected. I guess I got lucky!

seems like their computer system has been down a lot since they started the switch to the new one.What a pain.Hope everyone gets through soon,and gets what they want.Disney needs to take care of this problem already.
 
Well, I've had no luck here. Called yet again. SIGH. And now they are saying it will be fixed in a few hours. I don't understand how one person was able to get their ADRS. :confused3:mad::sad2::sad1:

Disney's dining reps are calling you a liar because I just called and asked how much longer, they said not until after 11! So I said "I heard some people are getting through" "No ma'am..." :rotfl:

Sounds like Disney's quality control department dropped the ball with the IT group. :rolleyes:

Sorry everyone is having so many troubles ... I would have thought by now that they would have ironed out the bugs - they've only been working on this "enhanced" system for something like 10 months.
 
That stinks!! So sorry to all you guys who are having problems. It seems so unfair that some are getting through and others aren't (no offense to those who are). I don't understand, if a computer SYSTEM is down isn't every computer effected? I've only been on this board a week and you've all made me a conspiracy theorist ;)

I did that, and just ended up proving to myself that it IS possible to miraculously get the same grumpy monotone CM twice in a row.

I have been persuaded to not call back every two seconds.....;)
