Disney dining is down 6-9-09

Just called 2 times and first time heard the CM say hi then line went dead, second time was asked to call back in 1 1/2 hours.
 
Yikes!! Got up early, got right through to Dining to be told they are doing "system enhancements" and can't make reservations!!! Today is my 90 day window. CM said it will probably be down for 2 hours plus...to keep trying back :scared1:
 
They told me to try back in an hour. STINKS! Hopefully it will be up sooner than expected.
 
I just got off the phone with dining too!!! Sooooo frustrating!!! I woke up at 6am to re look over the ADR's. Ughhhh!!!:eek:The CM I talked to wouldnt say anything about when to call back hour wise other then saying later this morning or this afternoon!!!!!!!!! If anyone gets through please post so I can call back. I dont want to keep calling them and driving them insane...I need help from other dis'ers!!!:rotfl2:
 

This system is jsut crazy, I cannot believe they haven't been able to rectify the situation...
 
No way :sad2:! It's my 90-day and I'm up at 4am and they tell me system is down. Called twice same information! They said one to two hours.
 
so stinks!!! I don't know whether to keep calling all morning or just wait until later today.
Why not do "system enhancements" at night not 1st thing in the morning??????

I got into the reservation center immediately just now (after getting up approx.5 hours early)----just to be told that the computers are down. :scared1::scared::sad2::sad1:
They said to call back in "ABOUT" an hour. What does that mean, and is that what they are telling everybody? Does that mean I call back in 60 min. and everyone is already on the phones at 50 mins? And that by the time I get in all the good times will be gone? Am I going to fall asleep while waiting???
BTW---I am having a slight panic right now, but figure that the disers would understand.....:confused::headache:
 
I've called about 4 times and all the CMs are telling me something different. One said 1-2 hrs, another said 30-45 minutes, one just started off saying system was down before I said anything. It's a little after 4am here so just gotta keep trying! We can't give up now.
 
Yeah...its my luck that they do the upgrades the morning my 90 days are FINALLY here!!!:sad2: I dont understand either why these upgrades cant happen overnight...unfair to those who waited n' waited and prepared for their ADR's....guess not much we can do either....and yes I am whining :rotfl2:
 
I really can't be late for work, the excuse of "disney was having problems with their dining system" probably won't work. I'm usually not the one to complain or write letters, but I feel an angry worded email coming on!
 
I had a helpful CM who said that the upgrade they did on the system overnight is not working & the whole system is down - reservations etc, not just dining. He said to leave it at least 3 hours before calling back.

I feel the same as you - just my luck to happen on my 90 day! :headache:

The CM I spoke to said upgrade was done overnight but the system didn't like it & has caused problems which they have been unable to fix - yet!
 
I'm sure glad I'm not a CM today!!!! Imagine all the angry callers!!! Yikes!!!!:eek: It's literally their job to tell people they cant help them until who knows when!!!
 
OK,so where did my post go? I put it on the Restaurant board but can't find it now other than going through my subscriptions??? I see someone replied but...even tried a search. (I know this is a stupid questions?!?!)
 
The woman I am speaking with got 1/2 way through my reservations and had it freeze up. :(
 
My 2nd call I got a reservationist was able to get 1/2 way through our reserv then it froze. She said others were having issues but her computer was working fine. But my reservations aren't finalized :( So I will need to call again. :(
 
Called again. They said an hour. <sigh>

Oh, and they've been saying "system enhancements" to everyone when the phone lines are down since they started this whole new system that doesn't work. It's their code for IT CRASHED AGAIN!!!! Too bad they can't afford to hire someone who can actually fix the stupid thing.

I'm going to be so disappointed if I can't get the ADRS I want. The people who check in on Friday Saturday and Sunday already have those days + 10 jump on me.
