ADR just before park closing

I have an ADR for Yak & Yeti for 15 minutes before the park closes. Changing restaurants is not an option as I have a Landry's gift card that I'd like to use up. I'm also ok with the time of the reservation because I won't be getting to the park until 10am or later.

My question is more related to Disney transportation back to my resort. I'll be solo and using an ECV. I know that the buses are supposed to run up to an hour after park closing. I will probably be cutting it close.

Has anyone else done this? Have you had issues getting back to your resort?

I would be nervous only because AK is slightly more remote than the other theme parks.
Im pretty sure they would seat you earlier than your actual reservation if something is available .

Disney will never leave you stranded.

There will be others dining with you, dining at RFC and Tiffins and the last of the riders getting off FOP.

Last trip we realized we "dined" too late at CR in order to get a bus from MK or DS back to AllStar Sports. A bus driver pulled up dropping off folks coming back from DS. We asked him if he thought we could still do the DS transfer and he said "Probably not. Hop on, I'll take you." We had our own private jumbo limo.

You'll be good. They know people will still be in the restaurant and will keep running busses until everyone is gone.

You'll be fine getting back. We've found having a reservation just prior to closing is a great way to end the day - way less crowds heading to the exit, and the park is beautiful at night as you head back.
