ADR help please

Ok I am trying to get my ADR list together...not sure of any times and that doesnt bother me right now but I do want some feedback on what everyone thinks and maybe suggest some good places to eat with 5 girls ages 13,8,5,4,2 and 10 adults yes a HUGE ) I am up for a good challenge as I am planning the WHOLE TRIP!! Here is what I have so far:

Saturday: thinking Chef Mickey's(like to start our vacations there)
Sunday:MK day Crystal Palace
Monday:Ep Princess Dinner
TuesdayHS 50's Prime Time Cafe
Wednesday:AK TH Donalds Safari Breakfast(late) or Lunch
Thursday:Water Park ???? Boma???
Friday:MK MVMCP 1900 Park Fare
Saturday:???? Maybe Cape May for breakfast or Chef Mickey's??? Not sure

The Princess dinner has to stay and so does the 50's Prime time cafe-they were requested by another family in our GG I am not sure if Boma will be too far away. We are staying at POR. I guess we could eat at Boatwrights but I am not sure. PLEASE HELP

I think you have a lot of good plans. I think it's much easier to do buffets when you have a large group of people, especially when there are lots of kids. It just takes too long for the entire party to order beverages, look over the menu, wait for 15 entrees, etc. Kids get very antsy waiting that long!

I will say that we've reluctantly scratched Chef Mickey's from our regular ADR list. The last time we were there in May for dinner, the food just wasn't very good. They had made some changes to the standard offerings and they were things our kids didn't like and my husband and I just didn't care for. Such a bummer, as we love the characters there.

We did the CP breakfast this past trip and THAT was GREAT!! We got an early ADR, 8:10, so we were among the first into the park. It was awesome to see Main Street totally empty and get that first glimpse of the Castle. We've had dinner there several times, too, and enjoyed it, but I think breakfast may be a new favorite.

We have done the Tusker House breakfast twice and that's pretty good too. Again, we like to get the early ADR before the park opens and then while we're finishing up, my husband will slip out and get FP for the Safari, or we can hit the Safari first off and not wait too long. Haven't been there for lunch, but breakfast is pretty good.

We love 50's Prime Time Cafe, so that's a good choice even if you do have to order off the menu. I'd try to get a fairly early ADR; we've had to wait past our ADR time the last couple of times we've eaten there, and we've had 5:00-6:00 ADRs.

You might consider Cape May Cafe for dinner on your water-park night. If you're depending on Disney transportation, you can take a bus to DHS and then a boat to Beach Club. We've eaten there twice and thought the food was good. Once it was with a group of 14 that we managed to squeeze together at one table and they were very accommodating. After dinner it's fun to walk the Boardwalk and see the various acts going on.

Another favorite of mine is Garden Grill at Epcot, but it looks like you only have one Epcot day planned. I thought the food there was really good and it's nice that it's served family style so you don't have to keep getting up and chance missing the characters.

Thanks! I forgot about Cape May and walking the boardwalk! I wanted to do that too! CP does sound good for breakfast and a change too...might have to try that one! Thanks again!
