ADR Help for our Honeymoon

Hi Guy's

We are going to WDW for our Wedding/Honeymoon and we wasn't planning on booking many ADRs as we wanted to see where the holiday takes us. But after looking at all the options there is we feel it best to book one ADR a day.

Now this is where I need you help which ARDs shall we book. They can be breakfast, lunch or dinner. We are looking at creating as many memories as possible so what would your choices be and why?

Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Since you are going to be on your Honeymoon I'm not going to list any character meals even though they should all be in the running too depending on which ones you like so I am guessing you are on the DDP so I will list all 1 TS credit places.

1-Le Cellier in Epcot
2-Raglan Road in Downtown Disney
3-Coral Reef in Epcot you can have a diver hold up a "Congrats" Banner as a surprise
4-Tutto Italia or whatever its called the new italian place also in Epcot.
5-Kona Cafe in the Poly

i did not rank these in order I like I just wanted to give you 5. We will be there dec. 15-21 and are going to quite a few of the ones I listed. You will get a lot of people saying don't go here or there but what it comes down to is your own taste. I would go to the menu site and check out the menus. Also go to the food photo site and one is divided by resturants and you can see photos of the food.

We went to Disney and a cruise for our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time. Good Luck!!

We aren't on the DDP, this is an extra that we can book if we want it.

We will also consider character meals as this isn't something to can do every day

Well you could always do a meal in the castle although it would be more expensive than the ones I listed and i think sometimes they give you something for your honeymoon but don't hold me to that I'm not for sure but I thought some people got wine flutes or something for their anniversary and stuff. you could also to California Grill and time it so you are there to watch the fireworks.

i think Coral Reef will bring you out a special anniversary dessert too but you will have to notify your server you would like it.

If I were you, I would also look at the menus for the restaruants just to see if you like what is served on allears.net. If you are going to eat at a table service most days, the dining plan would most likely be well worth it. We received it for free on our stay last week and for the week the totals that would have been spent were almost 900!! Have fun planning your honeymoon.

When booking all of your ADRs mention that you are there for your honeymoon, they will at most places celebrate the occasion with you.

Now for my chooses - If money was no object the perfect meal would be at Victoria and Alberts. But for most people, espescially those who just spent a fortune on a wedding, money is an object so my next choice would be California Grill or Narcoose's (as someone mentioned above, if you make it for a time frame when the fireworks at MK go off it will be extra special)
Character Breakfast at Chef Mickey - its just fun there with good character interaction.
Le Cellier in Epcot - YUM
Kona Cafe - double YUM
Spoodles - I like their drinks and the food is pretty good too! I also love strolling around the boardwalk after dinner and taking in the sights and sounds.

Two must-do's for us are:

Raglan Road in DTD and Le Cellier in Epcot. We loved these two places and would love to return.

If you want a very special, memorable meal for your honeymoon, you may want to consider dining at Victoria & Albert's. It is very expensive but definitely a memorable event. DH & I dined there on our last night of our honeymoon. Such a wonderful memory. They give me a long stem red rose at the end of our meal and both of us received our menus with our names on them. Because we also mentioned it was our honeymoon, they gave us a free chocolate cake to take with us.

For our Anni. at WDW we are doing very nice dinners:
1. Raglan Road

4. Brown Derby
5. Boma
6. Artist Pointe
8. MVMCP-dinner at Poly concierge
9. Biergarden
We definitely will remember all of these special dinners.
And I'm having a cake delivered and doing a room service treat.

If you get a late lunch at Crystal Palace, they wind up bringing out the dinner food while you are there. Nothing like prime rib at 3:00!

Actually, you will have your choice of both the lunch food (before 3) and the dinner food (after 3). But if you see a dessert you like from lunch, make sure you get some before 3 because the dessert also changes for dinner.

Another favorite place for us is Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch at the MK. They have great pot roast and also a nice turkey dinner plate. And some really good dessert choices. We do LTT for lunch on our last day for every trip. The pot roast at LTT IS the best in WDW (don't fall for that horrid stuff at Rainforest Cafe - better yet, stay completely away from RFC - or the equally bad pot roast at 50's Prime Time).

I've never had a good meal at Kona and tried it three times, two dinner and one breakfast.

Le Cellier is also a good dinner. Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club is very good, a little pricy, but usually very good service and good food.

Boma has something for everyone, even picky eaters.

We have always enjoyed breakfast at the Concourse Steakhouse (loved their Eggs Benedict), but they are closing up in the early spring (I think that's the schedule) and reopening as an Asian Fusion (whatever that is) restaurant on the lower level. My loss here.

If you are looking for an excellent sandwich and ice cream, try the Plaza Restaurant in the MK. You will need an ADR because it gets crowded.

Counter service places? Cosmic Rays is always good as is Pecos Bill (great taco salad) and no ADR is required. ABC Commissary at Disney Studios has a great little pancake and egg breakfast platter - no ADR needed.

We just got back from our honeymoon...

Every place we ate was lovely, but I think my favorite was Ohana. My travel agent had told me that you can see Wishes from Ohana, and booked us a little later so we could see that.

We got a perfect table and had a very romantic dinner watching Wishes. Plus the food was wonderful.
