ADR for Rainforest Cafe in DTD?

Does anyone know if you can make an ADR for the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney?? TIA!!

You have to call them direct and make a reservation. At least the one at DTD now that its not on the dining plan.

Yes - I have made ADR's with the WDW dining phone #.

Last week, I called Disney Dining from Pop Century to make an ADR for the Rainforest at DTD. They said they do not make ADRs for that location; its walk up service only. They only take ADRs for the Animal Kingdom location.

We went around 5:00 pm, and had no problem getting a table for 3. We waited about 10 minutes tops. Food was pretty good!

Thanks for the direct number! I wish they would have said that I had to call the restaurant directly, instead of telling me they don't take ADRs at all.

Oh well, at least I know for our next trip!

thank you everyone for the replies. i'm going to call DTD to make a reservation. this is the one request my fiancee asked of me and i'm just happy that he's going with me at all so i have to at least fulfill that one request!!!

Yes, you can make them 180 days in advance. As a matter of fact I called at the 180 day mark for Thanksgiving this year and I had my choice of times from noon on. I don't think a lot of people know you can make ADR's at Rainforest. It's a lot better than walking up and being told you have a two hour wait.

I have also noticed that if you don't mind eating early like after 4:00 PM, you can usually get a table with little or not wait. That is what my family and I always do when going there, so we don't make reservations and we are always 3 people.

You can make them I think 6 months in advance. These are directly throught RF nothing to do with Disney. I've had mine for quite a while.

I just called RF in DTD and the lady that answered informed me that they do not take reservations. They just give you a priority number. Basically, it puts you on a list that once you arrive should bump you in front of other people who just walk up. I guess it is better than not having a number at all.

That is how all the Walt Disney World owned restaurants handle their ADR's, so it looks like the Rainforest Cafe is taking the same approach.
