ADR for HS H&V for Star Wars Weekends Character Meal

If we want to go to the SWW character meal at H&V for May/June, should we just make an ADR there now? Any time of day to aim for? Anything we will need to do later to ensure it is for the character meal? I understand that there is no guarantee it will happen, but we'd love to go if it is happening.

You can't make ADRs now...the system has the times blocked out.

Last year they released the Star Wars meals way past the 180 days and anyone who already had a reservation for dinner at H&V was automatically in on the Star Wars meal, which not only cost more than the regular dinner there but is also 2 DDP credits instead of one. So a lot of disappointed persons who didn't want Star Wars meals had to cancel. This year they appear to be holding the reservations until the special meals are announced....

We are hoping that the 30th ends up being a SWW, and it looks like it is! I was trying to make my Sci-Fi Dine in reservations for breakfast and H&V for dinner so that we would have them just in case it was a SWW. Yea! But boo that I wasn't able to make my reservation yet. Looks like I will be up at 5 am another day.

Sci-Fi doesn't normally serve breakfast, right? So there wouldn't be any reservations available for that until and unless they do announce a special SWW breakfast for 2015.

There doesn't seem to be any H&V reservations available for Dinner after May 3rd, 2015, which is way past 180 days. Maybe available is the wrong term because Dinner doesn't even show up in the choices (only Breakfast and Lunch) after May 3rd.

SWW is the end of the month, so I don't think that is the cause. Maybe the reservations just haven't been released yet?

Found this on another website for 2014, it may answer some of the questions being asked here....I highlighted a couple of the items which answer some of the questions I see being asked in this thread. So if Disney does the same as last year, you can extrapolate your answers.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater will feature a galactic breakfast experience, while guests can enjoy a Star Wars character dinner at the Hollywood & Vine restaurant. Don't delay! These special meals can be booked beginning March 26, 2014 by calling (407) 939-5277 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. and are sure to sell out quickly. A credit card guarantee is required at time of booking. The usual 24 hour cancellation policy with a $10 penalty per person applies.

Son of a gun. Jedi Mickey's STAR WARS Dine at Hollywood & Vine is definitely up NOW and it looks like there is good availability. They also have a Fantasmic dinner package. I do not see any Dining Plan Information listed though.

not sure what info you are looking for RE Dining Plan, but when I booked it says both Reg and Fantasmic H&V are 2 DDP Entitlements. But it lists the same costs on both, so not sure if the info is correct?

The Star Wars character dinner (all dinners at H&V between May 4 and June 14) is 2 DDP credits whether it is a Fantasmic package or not.

Any regular H&V dinner (no characters) is 1 credit whether it is a Fantasmic package or not.
