Are we going to be able to enter the parks earlier if we have an ADR at CRT when there's EMH going on for resort guests only? We're renting a house this time and not staying on Disney property.

just tell the CM that you have an ARD at CRT - they may check your name on a list

If you are not in the park before EMHs start you will not be able to enter, no matter if you have adrs or not.
Only people who are staying onsite can enter the park at that time.

Now if you are in the park before EMHs start then yes you will be allowed to dine.

So if MK normally has an opening time of 9am and we make reservations for CRT at 8:00 and EMH happen to be that day, we won't be able to go in for our reservations? I don't get how they can do that. Sorry, I'm confused!

I can't say for sure, but I'm almost positive nedjalu is incorrect. there is a sep. line for early entry due to ADRS and/or tours. they have a list.

there was a heated thread a while back where someone wanted to know if hubby could run run to get fastpasses for something while the rest of the family got in line for Crystal Palace (there adr was before reg. park opening, but during early EMH.) not getting into that topic :rotfl:, but just mentioning it becasue they were obviously going into the park before park opening.

many breakfasts start before park opening. if there "hapens" to be early entry that day, I think that would just be a coincidence, and have nothing to do with being admitted for the breakfast reservations.

There is a seperate entrance the 4 parks for those with ADR's before they open. However the Magic Kingdom is different because their parking lot is across the lagoon at the Transportation & Ticket Center. On days when they have AM Extra Magic Hour that's where they check for those who are staying onsite that wanted to park there, because they hold the offsite guests at a specifc location and don't operate the Express Monorail until AM Extra Magic Hour is over. Now I guess if you can bring a copy of your ADR and a Cast Member might let you on the Resort Monorail, although I can't say 100% that will work since you are still staying offsite and can't enter the Magic Kingdom during AM Extra Magic Hour.

I do believe this is correct. Only guests staying onsite are allowed into the park before official park opening.
So if it is AM EMHs I do believe it is only resort guests that are allowed in for an adr. Others have to wait until the park opens.

well, I've never stayed off site, so I wouldn't know this, but why would they take a reservation if the person wasn't allowed to be there??? wouldn't the CM at Disney Dining reservations specify that when taking the reservation?

so, it's just a matter of "transportation" to MK from the TTC?
OP,.maybe you could park at the poly, contemporary, or grand floridian. they Do allow parking for 3 hours for dining. but then you would have to go back and move your car in 3 hours.

or, heck (ready to get flamed), but since they took your reservation .. for CRT, no less, which you have to pay ahead of time.. I would drive to the pop century or all stars early, park in one of the huge lots, and take their bus to MK. ( I only advocate this because they took the OPS reservaton and credit card # for an 8 am seating)

I guess I'll have to call and ask to find out and make sure. I'm not trying to get any FP's quick or anything but we would love to get a coveted "no one in the park but us in front of the castle" picture. lol.. I hope I don't get flamed for wanting that :)

But your not really going to get that if your getting into the park with those who are there for EMH anyway. Your better off trying to get an ADR for a different morning if you want that quiet walk down MSUSA with the picture of only you and your family in front of Cinderella's Castle.

Oh duh! lol... I think I've been spending too much time on the boards and starting to drive myself crazy... lol. Thanks!

For what it's worth, we've never stayed on property & I've always gotten ADR's before parks open. There's always a separate line for ADR's and the CM has a checklist with names.
