ADR for Cindy's and DME issues

Advice needed from the experts:

I lucked up and got an ADR for CRT on our last day at WDW. It is for 9:30 am, and we are using Magical Express. This will be our first experience with DME and from what I understand for our 2:30pm flight, DME will pick us up at 11:40am at POFQ. Will we have time to eat and meet with Cindy and still get back to the hotel for our pickup? Or should I just cancel ?

I really want to meet Cindy and eat at the Castle, it will just be me and DFI (no kiddies for us). Thanks for any advice

Are you flying a 'participating airline'? If so, you could check your bags through at POFQ, go to MK and eat, then head to the Contemporary and pick up the DME there. I would imagine that you would have to let them know ahead of time you are doing this. But, you wouldn't have to rush back to FQ. If you are not on one of the 'participating airlines' then you might just have enough time. Sure, you couldn't linger over breakfast but if you ate rapidly, and then headed right back you should make it.
I wonder if you could take a cab to the CR, give your bags to them, and then pick them up when you are ready to get the bus....assuming using a non-participating airline. Might want to check over on the transportation board.

The OP would not be able to pick up DME at the CR as they would not have them listed for pick up from that resort. They would need to get back to the POFQ for pick up.
I think though you will have time for your breakfast and then to get back to the POFQ for the DME. I would arrive early for your reservation, maybe they can get you in a bit earlier.
You'll have an hour to eat and then an hour to get back to the resort.
If you are not using a participating airline, get your luggage out of holding and you'll be out front for the DME bus.

You know what I would do? I would blow off ME and enjoy the breakfast. Leaving that early is probably overkill and you can get a cab for $40. The memories will be well worth the price of a cab and then you won't have to leave quite so early. You might even check with Happy Limo or some other service and see if they could match the cab rate. We have had good luck with them. Good luck.

I think you will be pushing it but you should have enough time. Just plan it out really well. Have all your luggage already checked and have your magical express passes easily accesible. I think you should be fine. It will be really close, but I think you can do it.

To save time I would at least plan on a cab from MK back to the resort to catch the ME.

If you missed the ME you could get a cab or town car to the airport with plenty of time to catch your plane since the ME leaves so early for flights.

Just make sure you have a backup plan that works, and don't worry about it.

Just a quick question...are u an AP holder? If not, I may not waste a day's admission plus breakfast and then chance missing DME. If you are an AP holder...then I would enjoy breakfast, run back and catch it!
