I am booking an early ADR at cindy's castle for me and my DD. I was wondering do the boats start early enough for us to get there in time for our ADR (8:10 am) or do we have to take a bus/car to MK to get there in time?
We will going in Jan. Please help!! This is our first time Camping at FW.:goodvibes  :cloud9: :woohoo: :cool1: :grouphug:

Whenever we had gone, the boats started early enough. But I believe we went on a EMH morning and the boats started at 7. However, the boats to the Contemporary start even earlier and it is a short pleasant 10 min walk from there and you know you won't be late. We have done this when we had really early ADR's at chef mickey's

We had problems 5 years ago with transportation for our Cinderella breakfast that was scheduled prior to boat time. At that time, Fort Wilderness check-in information said to call 45 minutes before you need a ride...so I did at 6:30 in the morning. The CM told me that transportation wasn't available since prior arrangement wasn't made. You can imagine the panic. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was very reassuring and said that she would work something out. We had a ride from our campsite to MK in a WDW delivery van. It wasn't pretty but it worked.

I would call and double check boat times or to arrange transportation. This trip, we called the a couple of days before we checked in to arrange transportation and it worked out well.

:thumbsup2 The boat to the CR is the way to go, it generally is running no later than 7AM and if you don't want to walk(it is easy to walk) you can catch the monorail, I think the resort monorail starts at 7AM also). We had Crystal Palace ADRs in March and this worked great, FYI though the didn't start letting people in for ADRs until about 7:50, so if you get there early plan on waiting at the turnstyle for a little bit.

We had an 8:10a.m. ADR for Crystal Palace in May and we just took the CR boat and then the monorail.

Blue flag boat, on the right side of the dock, to the CR, walk or monorail to MK. Total travel time should be no more than 45min, more likely 30.
