ADR for Biergarten lunch?

Do we need a reservation for lunch at the Biergarten or can we expect to walk in without much of a wait? It would just be two of us on a Wednesday in mid January. Maybe 1 o'clock or so.

I don't know for sure about Biergarten (we don't do German food in my family), but I know this past week there wasn't even anything for one at Rose and Crown ~ some guy went up to try and get ONE seat for lunch and the girl said they were booked all week. Granted it was the holidays, but... I wouldn't think it would hurt to call and see if you could get anything.
