ADR for 7:10/ park closes at 7:30

Made this ressie at Sci-Fi because it's all they had but is this a mistake or is it normal? I didn't realize that the park closed at 7:30 or I would have asked. Why would they book us for dinner 20 minutes before park closing? I know Fantasmic will make it really 8:00 when the park is emptying but that still is only 50 minutes. I don't want to feel rushed to eat and get out.

No, that's what they do at most, if not all of the theme park restaurants. They seat up until 10 minutes before the park closes, and will not make you feel rushed. It was lovely to eat at Le Cellier once at 8:50 and walk through a closed park an hour or so later

You shouldn't feel rushed. A lot of the restaurants stay open after the park/rides have officially closed. After dinner you'll probably get to have a nice stroll through the practically empty park

Thanks for the quick and informative responses!! I guess I will just relax and enjoy another "new" Disney experience. It will be strange to leave a park at the end of the night without fighting a crowd but I think I can adjust!
