ADR for 6 only need 4

I have a PPO ADR for Crystal Palace. Someone dropped a party of ten for me and I was trying to pick it up for 4 people. The system would only allow me to book the reservation for 6 and not 4. How do I deal with this? Will I be charged the $10 for the 2 people that don't show up on my reservation? Can I call Disney Dining and ask them to remove 2 from the reservation? I don't want to loose this reservation but also don't want to be holding 2 reservations I don't need. Thank you!

You can try calling disney dining to modify but if they need to cancel and rebook then just hold on to it and let them know at the restaurant when you check-in. You shouldn't be penalized.

We had a similar situation last week. We were holding reservations for a party of 8 a few times but wound up with only 6 or 7 joining us. There was never an additional charge for dropping a guest when we checked in at the podium.

Nope....as long as one person shows up, you won't be charged.
