How does it work if we have an ADR for 4 at Biergarten, but one child will not be eating. Is that even allowed or will this be a problem since it's buffet?
I would split up. I know that everyone likes to eat together, but if I knew one member would not at anything but a piece of melon, I woudl either look for a way for that member to fill the time and eat elsewhere, or I would change the restaurant.
We never had trouble finding our little girls something to eat at Biergarten, it's one of my husband's favorite restaurants and we go there almost every trip. That's what's so great about going to a buffet -- -- there's always something for everyone

It's one of the kids though or I'd totally have them fend for themselves. This was my husband's only restaurant request this trip - we tried to keep everything else about the kids this time. Maybe I'll get lucky and my son be hungry and adventurous this day.
