The friend who is lying about the ADR - is this by any chance the same person from the other thread who is lying about her birthday to get a free cupcake? 
I would definitely feel way too guilty in either situation. I am one of those people that cannot lie at all! Matter of fact when we booked trip last year my DD was 9, before we left she turned 10. We realized that this made a big diffenrence on DDP. So because of my conscience we called and changed her age before we left. Cost us about $200 more. But I didn't want her lying about her age the whole time.
