ADR during MVMCP

We have an ADR at BOG for 745 on our night attending MVMCP. Would you keep that or eat prior to the party? Will dining at BOG cut into too much of the Christmas party time?

If it were me paying for my family to attend the party, there's no way that I'd want to waste the amount of party time it takes to eat at BOG.

But, that's an individual decision that you must make for yourself/family.

Eat before. Party time will go by so fast and you are paying a premium for it - enjoy the party every minute. We've done a really big late lunch at a resort just before and it worked out great. Last year we had a 2:00 at Grand Floridian Cafe, we used the time after to see the holiday decorations in the monorail resorts and then we entered the party around 4 pm. We enjoyed the cookies and got a party treat that kept us going.

I wouldn't eat a TS meal during the party.

It all depends on how much you want to eat about BOG. I would allow between 60 and 90 minutes to dine at BOG (including time waiting to be seated), so you're looking at a good chunk of the party. Personally, for my family, we would not want to spend that much time (and possibly miss some of the MVMCP entertainment) eating at a TS location. I would look for an earlier ADR (around 5:00 pm) or go with counter service.
