ADR during EMH and off property

We are staying off property this trip for the first time. We have some friends whose last day at the parks is our first day. His family is staying on property and he booked an ADR for Crystal Palace for both of our families together. I just realized the ADR is at 8:00 am on an MK EMH day. Since our family is staying off property, will we be able to get into the park during EMH for the ADR? The reservation is in his name.

Are you by any chance at one of the Disney Springs hotels that get EMH privileges? If so, then yes you will be able to meet them. If not, then I would say no, you won't be able to join them until the park opens.

Is there any chance you'd be able to meet somewhere ahead of time? Maybe at one of the monorail resorts or something like that?

Just have them meet you outside the security at the TTC at 7:30ish and you will go in together. You are allowed in to the park early, even during an EMH, if you have an ADR for breakfast. But they will check the reservation name and number at the TTC, which is why you must be together at that point.
