I have a big group and a family of 4 who are supposed to eat with us has told them that they are going to "wing it" and let me know when they get there where they are going to eat with us. Since the ADR is in my name, what will happen if they don't show up or cancel at the last minute? Help!!!

Since you asked, I would make all the dinner adr's with just my family. If they want to "wing it" tell then you will meet them for counter service lunches.

Or you can make separate adr's as ask for tables next to each other..if they cancel thenyou still have your adr's. Good luck.

Thanks. I have to make ADRs for our big group anyway (11) and these are some cousins who decided to go with us. They aren't on the meal plan and I think that plays into it, but I'm going to call them and tell them that they have x amount of time to decide because I'm not going to be on the spot because of them! I guess this is what happens when you try and be nice and helpful. :confused3

There were times that the kids dicided not to dine with us so I just told them when we checked in at the podium. But that was 4 down to 2. I think anything over 8 or 10 you have to go through group dining. At least that is what we had to do for 12 and 14 in 2004. Some ADR's, such as CG and CRT and the dinner shows need a CC for a deposit. You will be charged if you don't cancel in 48 hrs. prior to your resi. :grouphug:

I don't have any ADRs with cc for deposit, but I was worried that with a group it might throw us off getting a table. I HATE when people can't make a decision. Everyone else is ok with the decisions. It's just these 4 that are up in the air. I have called and left a message that I NEED to know what nights or I'm just going to have to leave them off completely.

I would as well. If they aren't going to worry about their own meal experiences, why should you? Sounds like you have enough people to take care of as it is! :flower1:

LOL! Tell me about it. Right now the 11 are just immediate family! LOL! I'm looking forward to it. At least there will always be someone there with us. :cool1:
