I've known one person to eat there for dinner & they liked it. The dinner menu does look really good. I say go for it! My DH was wanting to have dinner there on our next trip but I just couldn't work it into our schedule. I wanted to try it for breakfast but, again, I couldn't make it work for us. Let me know if you end up eating there....I need a review!![]()
I'm so happy for you that you were able to move around ADRs & get all you want!Yeah, I think Ed would enjoy the belly dancers at Marrakesh, too.
The food - not so much. I hope it's a pleasant surprise for y'all & that meal is wonderful! You'll have to tell me how Mama Melrose is. We've never eaten there. I'm contemplating doing a dinner ADR there so we could get the F! package, but as of right now, I have 50's Prime Time in our schedule. Looks like you have a really great ADR schedule for y'all. Now, the question is.....will it stay that way?

We are on the Disney Dining plan and will pay for three out of pocket (Chefs, Tea, and Tusker)
May 31--
Brunch--Crystal Palace
Dinner--Cape May Clam Bake
June 1--
Lunch--Chefs
Dinner (ish)--Garden View Tea at the Grand FLoridian
June 2--
Dinner--Maya Grill
June 3--
Dinner--Kouzzina
June 4--
Dinner--Captain's Grill
June 5--
Dinner--Teppan Edo
June 6--
Dinner--Ohana (I'm not sure about this one, as there are bananas in dessert and my daughter has a banana allergy)
June 7--
Brunch before we leave--Tusker House
Some places we wanted to fit in but couldn't--
Plaza (for oop meal)
California Grill (time isn't being our friend)
Oh, and I would love to do the DxDP instead, but that would necessitate moving back to POP Century.
We ate at MM years ago and enjoyed it , we also ate at HBD enjoyed it but not enough food for DH or at the time My DS18 and his friend also 18.
Originally I had booked HBD for the F! DH's pick but then he said he just as soon do MM after reading the menu(found out he could get steak there).
MM seems to get mixed reviews but then it is only 1TS credit compared to HBD being 2 credits so MM it is(as of now)
I love the food at 50's Prime Time but DH does not care for the servers antics so skipping that one this trip too![]()
Sounds like you have a really good plan for y'all! Can you send in a dietary form prior to the trip so that they'll be aware of your daughter's banana allergy? I would think they could whip up some sort of alternative dessert.

We really enjoy the Plaza. And it's a good place to pay OOP. You never know - it may work its' way into the schedule before you leave!
For California Grill - could you just not get a good time that would work for y'all?
I want to try the DxDP one day. But, it is a big jump in price and while we do eat a lot, I don't know if we'd eat that much. Although, I'm sure we would find a way!
I've never done the F! package before, so excuse me if these are stupid questions:
1. There's not extra charge for the F! package, right?
2. If there are 2 showings of F!, can you only go the 1st showing?
3. If you do the F! package but don't end up going to see F!, there's no penalty right?
I'm kind of thinking now about changing 50's to MM & doing the F! package. That way, if we do end up wanting to see it, we wouldn't have to wait in the long line to get into it.
I'm thinking Cali Grill instead of Kouzzina and paying for that out of pocket.
Ok, I am able to Book ADR's in Feb! I think i've figured it out.. probably not or I wouldn't be on this thread. 5 day stay at Aspo, With dining plan. (Hopefully it ends up being a FREE dp)
Day 1: MK-- O'Hana for dinner (first time)
Day2: DHS-- 50's prime time for lunch. I would like to head to Kona for breakfast just for the Tonga toast and pay oop. How hard would it be to get there from Aspo?
Day 3: Epcot-- Via Napoli for Dinner, Snacking throughout the countries during the day.
Day 4: DAK-- saving our TS for 1900 Park Fare Cinderella Dinner
Day 5: MK-- Crystal Palace Breakfast
For QS I was thinking about Cosmic Rays, Columbia Harbour House, Turkey Legs and DHS and Yak and Yeti CS? What do you guys think??

amanda F! pkg is just one TS and includes an app if you are only on the DDP
You are correct if there are 2 shows the vip seating tix are good only for the 1st show but if you decide to skip F! no harm no foul.
We have never seen F! and I would really like to see it but if DH legs start acting up or he gets grumpy we can just skip the show. I do have a late dinner planned over at YC at Cap't Grill for after F! since we are doing MM for late lunch

Darn it, Amanda! I changed like 6 of the reservations, just because I couldn't be happy--
March 31:
Via Napoli lunch
Cape May dinner
June 1:
Tea for dinner
June 2:
still Maya Grill
June 3:
California Grill dinner
June 4:
still Captain's Grill
June 5:
still Teppan Edo
June 6:
still Ohana
June 7:
Crystal Palace brunch
Raglan Road dinner before I drive as far as Savannah, GA
Well, you wouldn't be here if you weren't a changer!
I do think your ADRs look really great now!So happy for you that you were able to work in Cali Grill. I think that'll be such a nice dinner. Do you think your dinner time will allow y'all to catch Wishes while eating?
No--dinner is at 5:30pm. That is the night I plan to take my camera equipment into the park, anyway, for pictures of Wishes, so it will be fine. Actually better. Because I won't be lugging around equipment for hours and hours. I expect dinner at Cali Grill to last 1.5-2 hours. Then, we'll do a monorail route visit towards Magic Kingdom.
I can never fill up with BF but the kiddos and DH can. He's so picky I get nervous with ADRS. Esp. since I am not a big "park planner" we kinda play it by ear. And now DH wants we to check out BC...did he not remember I shook hands with HRH....Guess he really doesn't want to try BWIDH is dying to try BW Bakery too and I noticed they have sugar free items for me
I bet all your kids can not wait to get into that sweet shoppe on the Boardwalk , wall to wall candy treats
I think it was you that mentioned funnel cakes I have never had them, at least I do not think I have unless they are called something different around here
I emailed special diets and they sent me back a form which I have to send back, I really just want the special plate of treats at the dessert party I have read about that are sugar free, as for my other meals I just pick and choose/substitute as needed, I have to see how the form is set up. I hope I can just fill it out for the dessert party and not all our meals
I should think with utilizing the CL offering you could do late breakfast would never work for me and DH he would be starving to death.
I've never done a late breakfast ADR before but I think I'll try it out for one meal just to see how it works out for us. I'm thinking of trying it out on Hollywood & Vine.
Hmmmm....... my wheels are turning AGAIN!

still pondering...... Staying at the POP... is it unrealistic to have 3 meals at Epcot???
Thinking of booking Chefs for dinner... and this will mean an additional trip to Epcot.
