ADR Before or Near Park Opening

Hi,

I have an ADR at Akershus in Epcot for 9:15am. The park opens at 9am and I imaigne that it takes time to go through the gates with line ups for all coming at rope drop. So my question is, can you get in earlier if you have an ADR? And if so, how? Is there a separate line? I have been told there is a 15-20 min walk to the restaurant from the gate so even if we got in right at 9am, it would be close.

Yes you can get in before park opens. When you get to the gate - they have a list with names on it for the reservations. They will check the list and let you in. I'm not sure exactly what time they let you go in, but it is before the park opens.

I love having an earlier ADR, walking almost by ourself in a quiet park in the morning makes the morning seems like a dream!

We always get the 8:00AM Akerhus times. I also like being in the park with barely anyone else in there. Makes for some great pictures too.

Wonder how early they'd let us in (i.e. if we came a touch early just for some photo shots without having to worry about strangers in the background)

We have the same issue... An 8:15 at CP... Want to get in extra early for pics. Move being in MK before the majority of the crowd! Only reason for the ADR for us. Lol

I have the same concern this year with our CP ADR. Last trip it was at 815 and they started letting people in at 740ish. This year it is at 910, hopeing we can still get in at the tail end of the 740ish crowd and just take our time wandering down main street and taking pics in front of the castle.
