ADR, and only ordering a drink or dessert?

Say for example BOG lunch and I only turn up to order a drink and the grey stuff

Is that allowed? Do you have to order lunch?

Because BOG is quick service at breakfast and lunch, you can order anything. A drink and dessert would be fine. Enjoy!

Even if it wasn't a QS, but dinner and a TS, you can still order anything you like. The only places where you cannot are buffets/family style/all-you-care-to-eat restaurants.

1) This would be OK, but . . .
2) Grey Stuff is only at dinner.
3) Your lunch choice would be a cupcake with Grey Stuff frosting.

At lunch and at breakfast you can order a Grey Stuff cupcake. At lunch you should also get a strawberry cupcake. It's so good!

Haha I thought I saw a slight difference on the menu, I want to do bog but I got crystal palace for dinner at 5pm so I best not eat much

We've got two adrs for raglan road this october and I've been contemplating this, we ate there twice during our last trip and both times I wanted to finish the bread pudding but simply couldn't without bursting. This time I think were going to do apps and dessert our second go around because that bread pudding is ridiculous.

This is one reason my DDIL and I sometimes split an entree. No room for dessert if we each eat an entire entree!

A bit off topic...Grey Stuff is EASY to make at home. Google it and you will find the recipe easily.

We are going to try and do that next week. We are on the DDP but DD favorite dessert is the Oeey Gooey Toffee cake at Liberty Tree Tavern. Our plan is to have lunch at CCH and get a side or water bottles instead of dessert and then head over to LTT for dessert. We don't want to waste a TS on LTT and then have an extra counter service credit left over.

I don't think we would enjoy the fancy menu at dinner, and I really don't want to pay those prices (OOP) for a meal that we don't love and that at least one of my kids won't eat. We really want to be able to meet the Beast, so I'm glad to hear it's allowed!

There are rumors that changes are in the pipeline, but no one knows exactly what they are, when they will take place and if they pertain to all restaurants. If I was planning to simply have appetizers or dessert and beverages, I would do it soon. Right now it is allowed at all restaurants that are not buffets, etc, so it is well within what is acceptable.

If I had to guess which restaurants will be impacted by a change, if there is indeed one and it is not just something floating around, I would guess California Grill, Narcoossees, and Be Our Guest.

We went to the restaurant because we didn't want to be charged $30 as no-shows. When we attempted to order a glass of wine for each of us and a dessert for our DD, we were told that we would have to order something more "substantial" - at least split an appetizer - if they were going to serve us alcohol. We ended up leaving the restaurant and weren't charged the $30 since we had been seated, but it was such a waste of time that I wish we would have just paid the fee.

She ordered a beer while watching the kids play, it was the only one she had all day. She drank 1/2 and then went to dinner. Because she was seen with the beer at checkin the server refused to serve any wine to her with dinner. The rules make no sense to me but????

We are going early November so hopefully it won't change before then. I would hope that any changes in policy would be clearly communicated prior to when we show up for our ADR.

The BOG thing makes sense because that is the only alcohol you can get in MK and it was only allowed because it goes with the meal. And PP said at least 2 people were ordering wine and nothing else (while one was getting dessert), which appears more like a bar than a restaurant.

However, the Le Cellier thing makes no sense. DH and I each had two drinks at dinner at WDW before. I mean the server knew we had a drink (because he served it) and then served us a glass of wine with dinner.
