When I booked it, there was also a 7:15. I thought 6:45 was risky enough. But I'm glad to know that it's OK because I was not looking forward to trying to move it.
We've done that before. We got to leave the restaurant and walk through the park while it was pretty much empty. Very cool. The same is true when you get an ADR prior to the park opening. Give the CM your confirmation number and walk into the empty park. Love it!
This past Oct we had a later ADR for Le Cellier. As usual Le Cellier was running way behind. By the time we got out, Epcot was almost totally deserted. In fact, there was only like two families waiting for the CSR bus. Everyone easily got a seat and an almost private ride back to the resort. Walking through an almost deserted Epcot was really nice.
When I booked 50s PTC back in June I was worried about the same thing! I called and they told me that the buses continue to run for "at least an hour" after the park closes. Hope this helps!
We're not morning people so I knew we'd miss out on those empty park photo ops before breakfast but I never thought about empty parks after dinner. It will be great to at least snap a few shots in an empty DHS on our way out.
I did a after park closing ADR at Sci-fi it went perfectly fine. It is pretty cool seeing the park completely empty too, and the buses were still there running as well
