Lol! MAKmom! I wasn't sure
My fiance and I went to the shelter on Sunday and everything went well (even though we couldn't see her, all the cats were in quarantine). Monday morning I got the call that I was approved and yesterday the call that tomorrow I can pick her up
!
I think it helped speed things up because I went in person and also because she was explaining the ringworm problem to me. She said a few people brought their cats back to the shelter after either the cats and/or people got ringworm.
Poor cats. She said she was just about to call people and ask if they still wanted their applications to be processed as it could take a while. I said yes, that I didn't care if I had to wait a while until I could take Isis home if she did have ringworm (if she did have it I'd have to wait up to 6 weeks).
I guess they dipped her in something even though she didn't have it - my mom googled it and was laughing at me because it might turn her cream parts yellow or green. So I might be picking up a green cat tomorrow
. They do shampoo her after, but that would be funny...
On Sunday before we went I did call the SPCA near my parent's so I had a back-up plan - you can walk in and out the same day with a cat.
