Those are all of the WAT photos, so I'll be posting the rest of my AK photos soon. Have a great weekend!!!

I love your pics! Especially the ones of the Crocs....who knew they had such white teeth! They look cute...in a scary sort of way...:rotfl2:

I give you credit for crossing that bridge...is there a plan B to get to the other side, if a guest just can't get across? Thanks for sharing your experience...it looks like a wonderful experience....I will definitely think of fitting it in
You may have mentioned it, but did you order the photopass cd or did you get the pics the guides took of the Trek because you did the tour?

I have just found your report and have to say that you take some of the most beautiful photos! I truly have enjoyed the picture extravaganza!:thumbsup2

My dream is to be able to go on the Wild Africa Trek in October, but I seriously doubt it's going to happen. The $189-$249 price tag just isn't in the budget.:sad2: I am however glad to have experienced it through your photos. Thanks!:goodvibes

WOW- thank you so very much for that amazing marathon of WAT pics!!! I adored the giraffe photos especially- but I think the best one is definitely the one of you crossing the suspension bridge w/ the pit of crocs below!! Very Indiana Jones. I've also been totally researching DSLR cameras- haha. ;)

All I can say is WOW!!!! Thank you so much for sharing. I think I better start putting in a couple of extra singles in the "Disney jar" every day and maybe surprise Mark with this.

Wow, wow, and wow!! Thanks so much for sharing your photos of the WAT. I'm really tempted to show them to DD9, but I kinda want her to be more surprised by what she'll see and do. She does know about hanging over hippos and crossing the crocs (she thinks it's AWESOME!)
I'm really glad to see that they include some stock photos of the signage and areas on the tour - so when I forget to take them myself I'll still get a chance to have them :lmao:

Thanks! The Photopass cd is included in the price of the Trek- they just send everyone a cd. It was waiting for me when I got home!
I don't think there is a plan B for crossing the bridges. It was tough for me- I was really nervous the entire time. The crocs were really, really huge- and a little scary- but I loved them.

Thanks! I'm so glad you're enjoying the photos! Sometimes I don't write much, but I always have a ton of photos!

Thanks! I'm glad you like the photos! Crossing that bridge was the scariest thing I've done at a Theme Park. Let us know if you get a DSLR!

Thank YOU for reading! Let me know if you do the Trek!!

Thank for reading! The Trek is such an awesome experience. I hope you do a TR & share your experience with us!

Now we're back to the photos I took. After our group dispersed after Wild Africa Trek, I decided to head over to Asia. Of course I got my veggie egg roll on the way over there. I went right to Maharajah Jungle Trek because I couldn't wait to see the bats. I love them! So for those of you not fond of bats, get ready to scroll quickly through some photos.

As soon as I saw Wild Africa Trek in your title, I knew I had to check out your report. All I can say is WOW!!!!!! Now I really have to do that tour!! You got some awesome pictures and it seems like a blast! My dad and I did the Backstage Safari Tour last April and really enjoyed it so now we want to do WAT too. Thanks for sharing. :thumbsup2

More great pictures, April. I love the tiger pictures, scrolled real fast through the bat pictures (hubby doesn't like snakes, I don't like bats), and some really interesting looking birds too.

I'll post on my PTR if we do the trek (I think I might have to win the lotto first).

All caught up. I hate that your room at the Polynesian wasn't up to par but it's good that you didn't let it ruin your stay. The pictures of the adopted ducks are so cute.

The Wild Africa Trek looks amazing! I am so proud of you for making it across the foot bridges without too much trouble. That's the one thing that would scare me the most about the Trek.

Of course, I am loving all of the pictures. They are absolutely amazing!

Thanks! I have always wanted to do the Backstage Safari tour, too. How was that??

Thanks! I know most people get freaked out by the bats, but I love them! I get really freaked out by wasps, hornets, and some bees. Anything that can sting me completely frightens me.

Love the close up shots of the tiger!

Thanks! I definitely was happy that I had my zoom lens that day.

I'm home from our trip and can now go back and catch up with your report.

:woohoo::yay:I'm so happy you're back!!!

Thanks! Those bridges were SOOOOOO scary! That is the only thing that would make me hesitate to do the tour again. I think I'd like to do the "Behind the Seeds" tour next time.
The issues at the Poly really were minor. The atmosphere there was great & it was really, really quiet- except for the horn on the ferry at the TTC! I was blocking that out within a few hours, though, so it never bothered me at all.
I wanted to let those ducks in my room when they all crammed up against the glass door!
