I read another thread "I'm lucky to be alive" on here today and she also had this problem caused from birth control. It has been an eye opener for me. I sure hope that you are better soon.

yes they said my birth control, the nuvaring caused it. so now i can never be on birth control again. so guess hubby is gonna have to get snipped

I'm so glad they caught this! My dad had 3 PE's in 2005, very scary! He's just taking aspirin when he flies now. I refuse to take any kind of hormonal birth control because of this risk.
