pricing up for next year and I am torn between newport bay sequoia lodge and hotel new york

i was wondering about the admirals floor and what the perks were or if anyone had been to either in March at all ??

any help or advice gratefully recieved :)

Well, you won't be surprised to learn that I love HNY :lmao: I might be the minority though.

For a trip in March, I think it would be ideal. Just a short walk to get back to the hotel, and if the park closes earlier, I'd like to be in a nice, large room.

Having said that, I've heard some very good reviews on SL, especially since the refurb.

I suppose it's all just down to personal taste, and what you're looking for :goodvibes

i was thinking it would be nice to have a nice hotel as we will be taking advantage of the 4 nights for 2 offer

if we were only going for a short time i would stay somewhere else but i just think it might be nice to have a pool etc if we want to take a break

heard some good things about SL but the NPB has been a bit dodgy so wasnt sure if it was worth going all out for the new york

the hot breakfast is swaying me :rotfl::rotfl:

I haven't stayed in Hotel New York before but my friend has and said she thought it was nice, but not worth the extra money, but personally I think it looks lovely!
Newport Bay Club i'm not sure about either, i'm staying there in October so hopefully it will be as good as it looks in the pictures :)

I have however stayed in Sequoia Lodge and it was BEAUTIFUL. One of the best hotels I think, I know a lot of people say its their favourite. I found every single thing was lovely down to the last detail, the rooms are spotless and pretty big and they have lovely tvs (although you don't tend to spend a lot of time in there, i do enjoy watching some tv before I go to sleep so I loved it) ;)

I think it depends on the person on which hotel is considered the best but until i'm proved wrong I would go with SL every time!

there aren't really many benefits of the admirals floor. You get a separate check in desk which normally has shorter queues, we got a voucher for one free tea and coffee pack and you don't need to pay to hire towels at the pool. We have stayed in both NBP and Sequoia and prefered the feel of the Sequoia. We haven't stayed at HNY though. :goodvibes

Have stayed at the HNY & SL, if the price is good for HNY I would always stay there, nothing wrong with the SL have stayed there loads of times its just the HNY has something that make me prefer it over all the rest including DLH:goodvibes
