admirals floor at NPB what would it compare to in terms of other rooms

as siad above , are these rooms bigger i thought i read somewhere that they are suites with a living rm and are 55m , where is it you eat your breakfast i know you can have it delivered to your room but if not do you have to go in with all the other thousands of guests there or is there a special eating place for admirals floor,

are these rooms bigger and better than a standard at the DLH or is the DLH still the best?

Hi, admiral rooms are standard rooms on a separate floor with a separate reception and room service not necessarily a suite, If you want to book a suite you need to phone to book, the prices are not in the brochure. From what I have read there is no separate breakfast for admirals floor, may be different for a suite.

I will be staying in a suite there in 2 weeks time so I will be better able to answer your questions on my return. When are you planning to go? I am expecting to eat breakfast in a different area than the other guests - just hope this happens! You get a VIP fastpass for staying in a suite.

we have decieded on the dates of 4th october -7th , i see you've stayed in the disneyland hotel this is where we are considering also what was it like? was you impressed for how expensive it is , we really do not know what to do , is it very expensive for the suite you have booked at the NPB for a standard rm at DLH they are quoting me 1098 for the 3 nhts , we want a really nice luxurious room so don't know where to go for our money this is about as much as we can afford as we've got flights and a taxi extra on top of the hotelcost so what dowe do?

It is almost 3 years since we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. At the time we had a windfall & decided to take our daughter (2 1/2 at the time) to Disneyland. As you can see we have since been bitten by the bug!!! The reason for booking the Disneyland Hotel was the proximity to the park as our daughter still had a nap during the day & we loved it. Since then I have always stayed offsite (I didn't go with my husband & daughter last Nov as I was over 8 mths pregnant & not allowed to fly when they stayed at Sequoia Lodge) as I would be conscious of how much money we spend. But then this year with the new baby with us I felt that we needed to be walking distance to the park, in a hotel with air conditioning & as the baby wakes quite a lot during the night then to really be able to enjoy our holiday (ie husband & other daughter getting a full nights sleep) we decided to go for a suite. The day that we phoned to enquire about prices, there was only 1 suite left so we booked it there & then. If we had taken time to think about it we probably wouldn't have done it. So I'm trying not to think about the money & am really looking forward to the break - even if I have to spend 90% of it looking after the baby & not getting the full benefit out of the parks! We are paying about 2700 euro for 6 nights. Hope this helps.

Personally I would say the most luxury for the money, and best service is at the Hotel New York. We have stayed in all the Hotels many times, and this one is consistently the best. That said, the Holiday Inn beats the Newport Bay IMHO.

Hi, until a few weeks ago I was facing the same dillema's wondering if I should go for Admiral floor or something else. I was divided between the lovely themeing of the hotel and the comfort I now like to have (i.e.not having to fight for breakfast . So I phoned the Shareholders club line and asked about this 'separate' breakfast possibility as it has been mentionned quite a few times on & off in this forum. After a short wait where the lady inquired about the possibilty the answer came back: No special room for breakfast, and you must book a time slot. So that was the deciding factor for me and I booked HNY. I have been there a few times now, and although it's themeing is not the one I prefer in the resort it has the advantage of being relatively small, and you can just turn up for breakfast. Also at the times I went (ie. last year August also) the crouds were reasonable meaning that it was also easy to get a seat in the bar for a drink, which when we went to NBC or SL was not always the case due to the number of people staying. So as a good 'in-between' alternative only a few Euros more expensive than Admiral floor, I give thumbs up to NY !
