Perfect for all your serial killing needs...

when we bought new frame-less shower doors the water repellent treatment was demonstrated in a bottle that utilized red food coloring so you see the water bead up and slide off-we commented 'ooooooooooooh it's like in dexter' to which the sales guy said 'yeah, we get allot of that' :crazy2: :rotfl2:

Speaking of ads (that seems like a lifetime ago) - here is what Wally World is trying to sell me. A plastic liner to take your bath without touching the tub!

I often see on buzz feed buy this junk articles in my newsfeed a jacuzzi tub cleaner that’s shows all kinds of gunk floating around in the water. I often wonder if I bought that and brought it to use in my DVC tub would I be horrified and never want to use it again, so maybe these aren’t a bad idea for those types of tubs.

I think I finally figured out where the John Deere ads might be coming from. The snow pile by my vegetable garden has melted now and the dog is already checking to see if her tomatoes are ready. She ordered the John Deere ads I know it!!

If a pallet of plants show up tomorrow, I’ll know someone has been using my credit card.

I have a bizarre add with a stuffed Tardigrade?? Some kind of schematics and it’s all part of an Easter bunny bonanza!!
I have that same ad and was wondering what that was.

I am exhausted, but finished purchasing the last flights that we needed for our upcoming fall trips.
My conundrum when booking flights is always is wondering if they are going to be cheaper a couple days later after I book them. Lately though the prices never seem to go down. I hope they don’t change your flight details 5 times between now and then, like they have with mine for our cruise this summer.

Here’s a cute video about Tardigrades, they are cool little creatures but not sure I’d need a stuffed animal of one. Since they are so small in real life the irony would be you buy it thinking it’s a big stuffed animal and you get it in the mail and it’s the size of a quarter.

FWIW--A home inspector once told me to just use powdered dishwashing detergent to clean a jetted tub. Fill it up with warm to hot water so it covers the jets. Turn on the jets and then add the detergent to the water to run through the lines for about 10 minutes. Drain tub. Fill again and run jets to rinse.

This is one I have not yet physically visited. We'll be there for a Topolino reservation in a few weeks, and I'm looking forward to seeing what I think. Originally I thought it was boring, but the idea has grown on me. Plus if you haven't noticed I'm Tangled-obsessed and I know there is a Tangled mosaic there which at least partially redeems it for me automatically 😂

What changed your mind about Riviera? Because I seriously thought I would never have any interest in staying there, but I admit I am sort of curious these days.
My issue with it is the inconsistent themeing. What does Rapunzel (Germany) or Peter Pan (England) have to do with the Riviera? I'm sure the murals are lovely, but they don't belong.

That’s what I do when staying in a hotel with a jetted tub.

My first thought when I saw those tub liners was that they could come in handy when traveling, so long as they don’t slip against the tub when you step in. It’s all well and good to have shower shoes, but if you only have a tub, they won’t help much. There have been one or two occasions when I was traveling when I would have liked something between my body and the tub. :crazy2:

we decided to tackle cleaning the jets to ours about a year ago-not for the faint of heart if like me you enjoy bubble baths (the soap gets into the jets causing more dust/dirt to adhere) so here's the process we used-

filled tub to point of covering jets with hottest water we could-put in a bottle of 'brew rite' which is the stuff you run through coffee pots to remove hard water deposits. let it disolve and then ran the jets for about 20 minutes. the water was disgusting from all the buildup so we drained it, refilled and ran it again (absent the brew rite). we kept repeating until we got a little to nothing coming out of the jets. i drained and wiped out the tub, got in with some q-tips and cleaned the jets best i could. filled the tub again and closed (used our hands to plug) all but 2 jets which increased the pressure and out came another blast of dust, dried soap and general gunk :crazy2:, drained it, wiped again and ran yet more rounds of water until we got nothing coming out of the jets.

gross, gross, gross-i will never use a jetted tub outside my own home again.
