Bulldoze that abandoned Wonders of Life pavilion in Epcot and the Animation Courtyard in HS and build attractions in their place. Maybe a Wall-E dark ride in the Wonders plot?

Instead they'll probably use that money for the Dinoland retheme, a few restaurants and a new DVC with an overpriced point chart.
I would love a Wall-E ride! If they added a ride from Up with Dug, Kevin, Carl and Russell I would be in heaven. I would still like to see another country in Epcot but that is obviously not the direction things are headed.

As already discussed I would not object to an interesting CS restaurant with excellent food finally in MK but that should not eat up much of the budget. I think you are right about there likely being another DVC in the mix. I’ve seriously been considering DVC but I’m not sure if the math works at this stage in life. I‘m not interested in Riviera and so far the design of the new Poly tower is likely not my style either.

I really hope it's not directed at DVC. I love DVC resorts, I love renting points to stay at DVC resorts. But I would much rather see that money go to some highly themed areas/expansions in the parks, or yes, a 5th gate, as unlikely as I know that is.

I loved a lot of the blue sky projects they talked about recently. Villains and Encanto, especially, just because I happen to personally love those ideas. Villains could be an opportunity for a completely new and different vibe, and some interesting and exciting dark rides or thrill rides. Also, side note, I want to meet Mother Gothel because I cannot imagine anything funnier than a Disney villian doling out backhanded compliments 😂 How much money does it take to produce a Mother Gothel meet?

On a practical level, updates to Tomorrowland in MK which I realize is perhaps controversial. I wouldn't want them to scrap it, some of my favorite attractions are there, but I feel like the overall vibe needs an update to reflect what is considered futuristic NOW.
The reason I mentioned DVC is because.....*huddles into a dark corner of an alleyway* word on the street from insiders on other forums who have discussed information that ended up being true in the past have hinted that the Reflections resort that was thought to be officially cancelled....might be revived? I hope if it does, it gets a name change because it gave off retirement home vibes to me.

The villains ones would be really cool. I'll be so excited to see it when it opens in 2050 : ) Also agree on Tomorrowland for MK AND Disneyland.

I also wish they could give Rapunzel something other than bathrooms. Tangled is my favorite Disney movie, and its "big" presence in the parks is literally a poop hole 😂 My girl deserves RESPECT.
Tangled is getting an entire land with a ride and an Ugly Duckling restaurant in Tokyo Disneysea! :D So excited for that.

Definitely agree she needs to be better represented, the find the hidden pascals while you wait for your family in the bathroom does not cut it.

They are REALLY nice bathrooms though. 😂 Seriously, though I agree.

I really would love to see the Villians land. I agree it needs to be more than 2 rides though. I can just imagine it during Halloween though!! So much fun.

Lotta snark today :P

If they DO go with more DVC, I at least hope they come up with something more interesting than the whole Reflections idea. It just seemed so... blah. My favorite thing about Disney is the immersive theming. If they're going to go with a new resort, I just hope it's something really exciting and immersive and different than the resorts we already have. How about a Villains resort??! 😂 Theming could be like, opulent castle a la The Evil Queen, with a Villains character meal along the lines of Villains After Hours....

I'm so jealous of Disneysea! Maybe someday I'll get there, but with little kids and a 15 hour flight it's not happening anytime soon for us.
The theming and execution there is really well done. The parks there all seemed to me to be extremely clean and well maintained, especially given the number of visitors.

I go back and forth on the theming concepts - while I absolutely felt like Riviera was a disguised Marriott when it opened - Its now one of my favorites in the portfolio - this will always be a polarizing topic of course ...

This is one I have not yet physically visited. We'll be there for a Topolino reservation in a few weeks, and I'm looking forward to seeing what I think. Originally I thought it was boring, but the idea has grown on me. Plus if you haven't noticed I'm Tangled-obsessed and I know there is a Tangled mosaic there which at least partially redeems it for me automatically 😂

What changed your mind about Riviera? Because I seriously thought I would never have any interest in staying there, but I admit I am sort of curious these days.

Sometimes I just like a nice fancy hotel that isn't over the top themed. Now. If we could just get some room service.

My 11 yr old is just like her mama and wants a cart rolled in with mini bottles of ketchup and Tabasco with a tiny jar of marmalade.

Please and thank you.

Generally, I like the smallish footprint of the hotel itself ... it never feels overrun by people ... the art on the walls and in the rooms are amazing ... the vibe is comfortable and relaxed ... and the 3bdr Grand Villa is stunning ...

Well that sounds interesting! How did you get involved in that? Also, please keep us updated here on the thread that does not exist.
apparently, I spend too much time on ShopDisney, and the focus was the Dooney&Bourke line for Disney ... I answered a bunch of questions ... they offered the survey and it comes with a $100 Disney gift card (or you can win a gift card - but I prefer that I get the gift card) - I picked some dates and times and boom ...
