Oh yeah sorry no secret it's Seabourn. So what cruise line? Is it a secret? Regent? Viking? Seaborn?
I want to do an ABD River cruise in the future, but that's probably as all-inclusive and expensive as I'll get.
As far as the drink package on Royal I'm still on the fence about canceling, but it does include soda, bottled water, specialty coffee, and smoothies. There's also the luxury of trying alcoholic drinks on a whim. If you don't like it you can toss it. All-inclusive can be liberating even if you pay more for it.
I missed the fries conversation but I LOVE this too. I especially love sriracha mayo. I'm too lazy to make it myself so I buy it from the store. My kids love to have their fries tossed in hot sauce at the local chicken wings restaurant.
We have looked at Regent too. The listed price is $$$$, but once you look at all thats included it’s really not that much different than the more mainstream lines. You just pay it all up front instead of little bits here and there. Especially if you add in excursions to some place like Alaska where each excursion is $200+ a person. Our issues is having a 9 year old with us. Aside from summer Alaska and Med sailings there arent any kids activities and probably very few kids in general. I would love to do Northern Europe at some point with someone.Oh yeah sorry no secret it's Seabourn.
We looked at Viking for a second cruise but in ways it's a downgrade. Not that I mean that in a bad way just their splicing up of services is kinda complicated when it comes to what level of room you book, so many things like how many days out for booking of excursions and dining and embarkation times. But I'd still be interested in the future.
Regent is incredibly expensive but includes airfare business class and excursions although just last week they sent a flier about saving 40% if you elect to do premium economy depending on the cruise.
Silversea or Regent we'd try out both if a good price came along.
See I just need to convince my husband to do a river cruise lol.
Let me tell you though seeing all the photos from the Antarctica cruises it really has me wanting to go there. That seems to be one of the most in demand places but of course the cruises are like sell your house kind of price (I exaggerated slightly).
For a company that does drink packages it'd be the coffee and pop we'd use the most with getting alcohol but not going too crazy with it.
Speaking about trying out drinks on a whim on the Seabourn FB pages we're on there's multiple people that post what drinks they got but it seems like the bartenders there like to create drinks for people either way some look so good. We like to try new things, I could see us getting a variety just by asking the bartender to make what they want.
Yeah the consensus seems to be give them a little time to work out the kinks but maybe hold off on booking them for now. I mean somebody has to book them lol but still. I was surprised as well thinking they'd have a thing or two but generally really good otherwise but nope people are coming away with a lot of complaints.I have been eyeingtheir super yacht collection since they announced them well before the pandemic!! At that time, their pricing was pretty enticing especially when you're supposedly getting the Ritz accommodation and service. I just remember telling myself "We must try this!" Then fast forward 4-5 yrs later, the pricing went up (not surprised) but they aren't getting raving reviews like I had expected them to, so now I think I'll hold off for a few years to try them.
My DISer friends love DCL, a few go a lot but they go even more because now they live in FL. I won't cross DCL off the list entirely (a group trip would be fun and just speaking about the future) but admit my husband and I think about the value ratio for the money. If going with friends sure that is different but still. I still pay attention to DCL stuff though from an interest level and a gathering of info level.DH and I both agree on this after we sailed the Wish - As much as we love Disney, the value in DCL is far less than reg cruise lines. Not saying we won't ever sail DCL again, but they won't be our priority over the other premium cruise lines.
Yes, those are the one. I was thinking the same thing. Deviled eggs and potato salad and dessert. Hopefully they won’t be disappointed. Are the sandwiches the recipe where you brush the butter on top and thry come out ooey gooey and delicious?
Yum! I would be all about that plus some potato salad and/or deviled eggs.
It's just us 3 so I bought a small Kentucky Legand smoked ham.
We'll come if they are not happy HA HA!Yes, those are the one. I was thinking the same thing. Deviled eggs and potato salad and dessert. Hopefully they won’t be disappointed.
I think they’re a professionals list they use because a lot of times they have to have specific skills usually martial arts training etc to be able to handle the stunts. I think with cgi they can easily edit if they don’t look quite alike nowadays.Point to ponder - how does Hollywood find stunt doubles? Do they put out a call for people who look like and are the same size as X? Or do random people say, "Hey, I've been told I look like X. Will you hire me?"
Just weird how they find a doppelganger.

It's really the sticker shock but yeah even my husband started saying "It's expensive but it does include a lot" he must have been looking at it again this past weekend as he said that.We have looked at Regent too. That makes sense.I think with cgi they can easily edit if they don’t look quite alike nowadays.
Did anyone see the AITA thread about this girl who left a date and came back with a bottle of ranch because the restaurant didn't have any? I saw it on Twitter and the person who shared it put it like, "So low stakes but also so wild" and I think that's a perfect encapsulation.
Our inversion table arrived
Very early in the morning too
Unfortunately it'll have to wait until this evening to be put together![]()
My friend and I were laughing at that post the day it was posted because we know someone who would do that. LOL They also argued with the waiter after being told that outside food wasn't allowed. Such a lack of self awareness. If I was the date I would be beyond embarrassed.Did anyone see the AITA thread about this girl who left a date and came back with a bottle of ranch because the restaurant didn't have any? We were doing so well my friend until you said thisOkay....I need to drop a bombthat might get me some hate comments...I HATE RANCH!!!!
Remember the old Toyota commercials in the 80s where they would highlight people who had Toyotas that lasted forever? My uncle and his old truck were featured. LOL!That makes sense.
Speaking of movies, two of my cousins were asked to be background people in a busy street scene. This was in the 80's and they still occasionally bring it up. I don't think their movie made into VHS, otherwise we would have multiple copies by now.
I haven't had my coffee completely do explain
This just put you in a whole new light.
It’s a good thing I’m married as I bring my own GF soy sauce when we get sushi. I’d hate to have to try dating having my list of food issues. My friend and I were laughing at that post the day it was posted because we know someone who would do that.
