adjusting recent add-ons?

We just did a small BLT add-on last week. Now with the new 2010 pt chart we really need 4 or 6 more points.

Will they allow a change or is it a done deal?
 
If you read your contract, you have 10 days to back out. Has it been 10 days yet? Call your Guide and see what they can do for you.

I don't want to back out, I just want to increase.
I know about the 10 day rule. My question really has to do with the 100 point minimum add-on at BLT issue.
If I back-out then I can't purchase less than 100, right?
Or do point adjustments fall under the 10 day rule?

I think it would be worth calling your guide and asking this question. Perhaps there will be some willingness on Disney's part to accommodate your need to buy a few more points. I surely hope so. Good luck! And maybe if you call you might be willing to post the response you get ??
 

Call your guide and see if they will redo you add-on contract without maing you bump up to the 100 minimum. Since you are still in your legal refusal time frame, it seems silly for them not to work with you...but you never know.
 
I'd sure see about adding enough points to provide cushion for the next reallocaton though - at least you'll know that won't happen again until at least 2011. :)

Adding more points would require a new/modified contract. If you were under the 10 day rule, I thought that you could cancel and start over. Better call your Guide.

I am going to do just this tomorrow. I really could now use 5 more points added to my 30 pt. inital purchase. I haven't turned my paperwork in yet. So I plan on calling tomorrow....who to start with? Member Accounting or Guide?
 
Called my guide about the same problem and she said not to sign the papers she just sent me. She will rework my contract and send me new NEW papers to sign. No biggie per her words.
 
Call your guide, Member Services does not handle sales.

Really? Great!! I haven't sent back the paperwork, they were so late in sending in out. Did you purchase less than 100 pts? That's my issue...I only want to add 5 pts. to the 30 originally requested.

Well of course I had just dropped mine off at FedEx an hour before I saw the new chart hullabaloo.
 
I had the exact same issue. I purchased 30 points to use every other year in a studio in December and would be 5 points short everyother year. I sent in my docs Monday and they received them Tuesday. When I called Thursday he said they would do a rewrite since it was within 10 days since I signed and it hadn't went to recording. I increased to 33 points. I'm glad I waited until the deadline to do the add on.

Great news! My guide is off until Monday...did leave a voicemail...also spoke with quality assurance. They noted it in the computer that I now want to increase from 30 to 40 pts. and had not sent in my paperwork yet. She did not see a problem in adjusting the purchase amount. So I have to wait until Monday to speak with my guide, but sounds like I will get the small increase. Here's waiting till Monday now.....:crazy2:

Since he hadn't called back & it was almost closing - I called Quality Assurance.

She found my add-on paperwork an put a hold on it until I hear from my guide. She said normally these things move pretty quick. (I had signed them the 21st, but didn't drop them off at FedEx until 1pm on the 22nd. & they were already working on it today the 25th)

I didn't see any change in the BLT chart. Where do I get the latest version?
